Actually, it's not too unlikely.  FoxTrot has video game jokes all the time.  They even ran some Nintendogs ones...

I guess I mostly read it on weekends so I must of missed previous ones, foxtrot has to be one of the best comics right now.

The author of Fox Trot reads Slashdot (at least, it certainly seems like he does) and regularly writes comics about big Slashdot articles a few days after the article. Slashdot had four stories about Wii's name.
