1) Reggie has detailed that there will be a new racing game displayed at E3...

2) Konami has sent out postcards to the press..."RETURN," "REARM," "REGALE," "REBIRTH," "RESPECT," "REFINE." On the back, it reads "The REVOLT begins, Tuesday, May 9. It's the battle for E3."

3) IGNPODCAST supposedly brings up these titles...

Nintendo 2nd Wii FPS (NST)
Harvest Moon Wii
Trauma Center Wii
Sonic The Hedgehog Wii
Super Monkey Ball Wii
Nintendo Cooking Wii
Metroid Prime 3 Playable
Super Smash Bros Playable
New Nintendo Project (Retro)
Several New Nintendo IPs

I haven't personally gone through the podcast myself to check up on this, so I guess you should classify this last one as rumour...

oh god... the name doesnt let me enjoy this news as much as I would before T_T F!ck...

Ive heard the Konami game is asociated with Kojima according to gamespot. It can be interesting, but I just dont like at all the MGS franchise, it has bored me to death, lets wait and see anyway.

Oh and I cant wait for Metroid Prime 3, Im anxious to know what they are doing, how much focus is on multiplayer specially which is really my big concern.

Kojima is working on 2 MGS games for psp, plus Boktai is back on DS
hes pretty busy atm

GameSpot says that the Kojima game isn't a stealth game, and he wanted to do something totally different.

This is all sounding so good. A week and a half...

Even the name has become less ridiculous.

RACING GAME! I really hope it's F1 Grand Pwii! If Nintendo can get a serious exclusive racer for once I'll be able to hold off buying a PS3.

Good news about Konami.

HORRIBLE news about the NST FPS. It's gonna turn out like generic garbage (like MPH) and we already have an exclusive FPS in Red Steel, and I wanted Wave Race from them!

Wave Race will come Mario, an FPS is more important right now.
And I haven't played Metroid Prime: Hunters, but it isn't generic. I've played the demo, and that's fine. And everything about it (while not as unique as MP) is well made, visually and gameplay-wise, just more similar to Western FPS games.
And supposedly it's really good, as an FPS, so if we get a non-Metroid FPS from NST, on Wii no less, that's great news.

Why would anyone buy a game they don't like? Also, Harvest Moon could be pretty excellent if they actually do try something new for once. *Same game over and over for years*

Am I missing something? How does Gamespot know Kojima's game is for Wii?

All their speculation just seems to show it could be for Wii.

Oh man, I can't wait for E3!! Just to see the new Nintendo IPs alone is going to be so exciting!! Last E3 was a bit of a let down since we didn't really see anything other then the case of the system... This time I'm uber excitied... I hope I'm not let down! I'm mostly looking forward to the Sonic Wii, Smash Bros Wii, and the new Ninty IPs.

The Racing Game is NOT a rumor. Reggie leaked the info himself during the autograph signing yesterday.

I'm trying to understand the logic of like a dozen topics on the system's name being above game news...

It's rumoured that NST has another project in the works, and whether their FPS will come out first or this other secret game is unknown (if this rumour even follows through, of course...)

I think Nintendo could use the controller to make an awesome arcade Motorcycle game.

B-Trigger is Gas, A Break, and then you use the controller to line, pop wheelies and other stunts. It would be pretty cool.

I don't know about Harvest Moon Wii being Natsume's launch title. They already released a new Cube HM game this year, not to mention they're going to be releasing the DS one. They're risking overdoing it.

My guess is they'll announce HM for the Wii, but their Wii launch title will be something else. I'm still holding out for hope it'll be another CIMA. That's an idea that really deserved another shot.

The better question is, how can they call a game generic garbage when they don't own it or play it online where it's meant to be played?

I've stopped listening to rumors. E3 isn't far off, and I'm more interested to hear the other half of the wii story right now (and there had better be a 2nd half to the story...).

I listened to the Podcast and he said the NST game and 2nd game by Retro were rumors. Now, that might mean Nintendo has Cassamasina locked under an NDA and he was hiding it by saying they were rumors, or maybe they're really just rumors. He confirmed everything else.

Where the hell is Mario Wii? I will be PISSED if Mario doesn't make an appearance. At least until I see some Metroid Prim3 footage.

I think if there's one game Nintendo would keep super secret it would be the next Mario adventure.
I mean, Miyamoto once promised that Mario 128 would be finished in time to appear on the Gamecube.
He may have had to break that promise but the game has to be very far along in development for him to have actually been willing to make it at the time.
Even if it was entirely re-built for the Wii, most of the foundation had to already be there. There needs to be at least some video footage at E3. THERE BETTER BE!

The non-mention of Nights makes me worried that it might just be getting underway.
We might at most get a promotional FMV.
