Nintendo rides the wave of the DS and forcasts highest profit in 5 years. Not bad considering cabe cube sales are crap.
So there should be plenty of funds available for a good revolution launch.

dude just cuz the games stil sell milliosn does not mean the cards are the major crazxe they are now, if you have any memory at all EVERYTHING was Pokemon back then, now its Yu Gi Oh and Naruto. I didnt say Pokemon was a dud now just it isnt the major craze it was then.

I have memories of a time like that, but it sounds more like 1999 than 2001. 2001 is after things like Pokemon Puzzle League and Hey You, Pikachu. 2001 is actually when the popularity was starting to wind down, and the third Pokemon movie came out.

It's possible it was a bigger deal in 2001 than it is in 2006, but I'm not completely convinced of that.

A Roger Rabbit Mystery game would be pretty darn cool. Walk around a world gathering clues to several different Mysteries at the same time. (There would be like 5-10 mysteries or "levels") But you play in a free roaming world of toon town and the real world gathering evidence and trying to piece which clues go with which crimes. Throw in some crazy antics and occasional action sequences and you have yourself an interesting and enjoyable game.

I recall a game called Toonstruck where you were a cartoonist who got trapped in his own world. Point and click adventure.
