Is anyone really intrigued by this game??
Does anyone have any new information on it. I personally think the cel shaded graphics are more stunning than Zelda, but i am probably in the minority on that one.

Also it is hard to make out the type of game it is by the screenshots, i mean i originally thought it was going to be a FPS but the screenshots dont back this theory.

Post any thoughts or news on the 2ND most eagerly awaited title for the gamecube!!!!

It almost looks like a digital comic with more interactivity or something.  Wait...did someone just say SNATCHER??????????????  Oh, no, that was just me.

This game looks wonderful, graphically.  I know nothing about it beyond the pics I've seen, and it very clearly seems that the game will change our entire world.

it could be like metal gear, it could be like resident evil..... i dont know
it probably will be in the vein of resident evil but with 3d controls and stuff
i looks really good...and really dark
hopefully it plays good
we probably will see more at e3

i posted this before but the main character is wheelchaired.  He also has 7 personalities, each with unique attributes.  I think some of them can walk.  He is called the Will of God, and is the world's greatest and most feared assasin.  His enemy is The Hand of God, a newer assasin who is quickly gaining power.  Ok thats all i know.

As for it being plot driven, I must say that from the movies I've seen, it seems like it has a bit of an abstract style going for it, sort of surreal, dark, etc.  So, with that in mind, I'm thinking it'll rely heavily on visual storytelling rather than a very intensively plotted story filled with text, etc.  Just a thought.  Whether it turns out to be the case or not, I will say I'm a big fan of games that rely on the visuals to tell a story.  Ico did a great job of that, I think.  Likewise, I love a good RPG with tons of text, provided it's not annoying like the main character in FFX.  ;-)  Sorry, it's just how I feel about Tidus.  It just is.

Much of the writing in that game was bad...bad...BAD.*

*Broken Record Syndrome: I state this very thing about once every three days.  It's even starting to annoy me.

I hear it's about some old, crippled hitman that has multiple, physical personalities (7, actually, thus the name) is going to stop some big crime lord that converts people into his gang thing by touching them (his hand is special and controls them).  Plus the graphics look cool, but I still prefer the Zelda ones.  I'm not biased against happy and depressing, so I think that the Zelda ones are obviously higher in quality.

I love games with interesting stories, and well, this game, so far sounds awesome!

I also love the cell shaded graphics of this one...... I don't think I can really compare these to Zelda's though..........they both are great.

As far as i know, there is this kick ass assassin who has 7 different personalities or can assume different personalities and there is some sort of agent who is trying to kill or track him down, but i think Capcom are only 'bleeding' certain info on this one. I have a demo/movie dvd with the 'capcom 5' on it, which includes RE4, Viewtiful Joe, KILLER 7, Dead Pheonix, and P.N.03 on it and all i can say is 'FRELLING WOOOOOOW'.

I agree with Skyman.  There are things you can't compare.  That's what I hate about most video game folk. . . they try to compare games like Zelda to Grand Theft Auto.  It just doesn't work that way.

why not? whichever one you had a better time playing is the superior game.
anyway, i dont like the sound of that "magic hand" thing that turns people to that guys side...it seems kinda lame.
regardless, this game is fantastic looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The art style, and something about teh feel of the game really reminds me of Perfect Blue.  If you haven't seen it, I suggest heading to a video store and renting it.  It's a very twisted anime with an ending that will leave you freaked out for years.  But pay close attention to it while watching it.  It's very easy to miss something important.

Gamespot just had an update on Killer7.  This game looks seriously twisted, and seriously good.  I am now looking forward to the game more than ever.

I am interested in Killer 7, but I am confused about the personalities.  The main person Herman Smith is wheelchair bound and elderly.  So how are the other personalities separate for independant?  And accordning to gamecubeheaven.tk one of the personalities killed Herman Smith 4 years ago so what the hell is going on with this game?  I am comepletely confused at to how the characters can even exist unless they are seperate individuals or Herman isn't really who he seems.

If you read the update at gamespot, you can easily infer that each "smith" is referred like it was a different smith. This is just to carry on the story that he is wacko, who cannot tell the difference between himself and his own different personalities.

I think when it refers to killing Smith....I think that is a metaphorical way of saying that, that personality has consumed the body and taken over.

It should be interesting to see this game with some more polish. Personally i like the look of cel-shaded games that use more vibrant colors. I think it's hard to see some of the onscreen action when the game is darker. But for 30% done it's looking quite good.

I don't know if this was said before but Capcom has put up a fully working Killer 7 official site(mostly in Japanese except for menu titles).
It has some neat stuff, it has a movie for download available in a high(640x480) and low(320x240) resolutions, and they also have a playable shooting game. The game is pretty fun until you get tired of shooting like I did, but that's just me.
