More Prizes Announced for PGC's Birthday Contest
« on: March 11, 2006, 01:19:47 PM »
The grand prize winner will be going retro with these goodies.

Earlier this week, we announced the big contest to celebrate PGC's seventh year of existence, and we promised that more prizes would be announced during the contest period.  Now, we have confirmed a great set of prizes from our importing partner, Lik-Sang.

First, a very popular import game for the Nintendo DS system already included in the grand prize pack:

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan for NDS (Region Free)

For a blast from the past, there's a brand new Famicom clone system (which is legal due to the console's age) to replace your ancient system:

Neo Fami Black

And a little cartridge converter so you can play all your old NES games as well as Japanese Famicom games:

Family Converter 60-72 Pin

Finally, two snazzy wireless controllers for the system, so you can play your old games with all the modern convenience of wireless gaming:

Two Limited Edition 2.4Ghz Wireless Famicom Controllers

To win this stuff, you'll have to impress us with your photographic creativity, so hop over to the contest article and enter now!

I have no use for 3/4 of these so I guess it doesn't matter that I'm not entering.

No use for a brand new black, wireless NES in perfect working condition?  Even if you have no NES games, you can buy them for next to nothing.  Many great games sell for less than a dollar.

Holy crap. That NES clone system is like the greatest prize ever just by itself. Perhaps I should have decided to enter this one. "A LITTLE LATE FOR COULD HAVE'S, MARGE"

Perhaps where you live but I have no idea where one could get NES games here outside of eBay. On eBay you'll either pay outrageous shipping rates or get a whole bunch of games you didn't want (plus an NES in many cases). And I think PAL carts differ from US and JP carts?
