While Super Mario World was titled as Super Mario World, it was still really Super Mario Bros. 4, unless you want to take into account the two completely different Super Mario Bros. 2 games, then Super Mario World would actually be just Super Mario World and then Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island was the start of a new psuedo-series that ended with Yoshi's Story, (and the first trilogy would be sort of like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and be more than 3) and then the new series was realized in 3D as Super Mario 64, and if you don't know what you are thinking, as your brain has just gone and blown up, you want to know where the other 61 Mario games are as it went from Super Mario Bros. 3 to Super Mario 64, and then you have to take into count the lack of the word Bros. from the title and you have to wonder, further, where the Hell Luigi is and why he wasn't in the game, and you are left with a whole mess that is about as equal in confusion as the whole timeline for the Legend of Zelda series is.
is Super Mario World "Super Mario Bros. 4" or is it a while new trilogy for Mario that ended on the N64 and Super Mario 64 another trilogy that is more or less not finished unless you want to include Super Mario 64 DS, then which in fact the trilogy is complete and the New Super Mario Bros. and the when-ever-the-hell-it-comes-out Super Mario Bros. 128 (?) being the first games in possibly two new trilogy's.
something to think about
