Mafia II: Day Three
« on: February 22, 2006, 02:53:52 AM »
After discussing contingency planning with the rest of the Reggie Mafia, Godfather Ice Cold stepped out into the darkness to return home.  He was particularly good at traveling unseen; somehow no one noticed him or his handiwork last night as he left Ty a broken man face first in peanuts.

Tonight, though, he would not be so lucky.

"Hello, Ice."

IceCold turned and faced the voice.  "Pale. . .  What are you doing up?"

"I've been sick of finding our UMD shipments delayed and I need you to stop pulling that kind of sh-"

"You know, Pale, one of us was here first, and, I might add, legitimately until you had to come and fu-"

"Well, that's what I do.  And now, I'm going to do it to you."  With that Pale whipped out his pistol and held it to IceCold's neck; but Ice was no slouch, he quickly drew his pistol to Pale's forehead.  They were locked in this stalemate when suddenly they heard a voice in the darkness behind IceCold.

"ICE!  GOD, ICE, HELP"

As Ice instinctively turned to the voice, Pale took his chance and blew out his Jugular; a great blow to the Reggie Mafia, but not without consequences.

"Thanks, Pale, you've made this too easy."  The last thing pale saw was the shadow of a man--some kind of vigilante--and what looked to be an aluminum bat flying toward his face.  The next morning his body would be found with nearly every bone broken, victimized to the extreme brutality that can only come from blind vengeance.  The Godfathers of both the Reggie and Kaplan mafias were no more.

"Bullets, my only weakness.  How did you know?"

Alright, so let’s go over everything we know and can assume.

1)  TVman was the cop, and he was voted off by the townies on day one.
2)  SUPER was a townie, and he was killed by the Reggie Mafia on day two.
3)  AnimeCyberRat was a henchman in the Reggie mafia, and he was voted off by the townies on day two.
4)  IceCold was the Godfather of the Reggie mafia and was killed by the Kaplan mafia on day three (today).
5)  Pale was the Godfather of the Kaplan mafia and was killed by the Vigilante on day three (today).
6)  One of the two surviving members of the Reggie mafia must be the Rat.
7)  One of the three surviving members of the Kaplan mafia must be the Rat.

Did I miss anything important?

As I said before, I was left out of pretty much all the behind-the-scenes discussions during the last game.  Can I be involved in the ones this time?  The game’s a lot more fun if you know what the heck is going on.

If you happened to be wandering near the old House of Polysolysheoth in the district of Parcheesi in the town of Dagafabawat that late morning, you might have seen Wandering, desperatley trying to grab the attention of the passerby:

"Excuse me. Yes, ahm, hello. I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT! The large item behind the red cloth, the one you've all been so excited about, will be unveiled sometime this afternoon. 3, or maybe 4ish. You should all, you know, maybe come by here around then. Mill about. And all that. Thank you."

Remember everyone, the DRM licenses do not allow you to inherit the UMDs from the dead people. You have to go buy new copies.  To quote Ken Kutaragi: "The PS3 will instill discipline in our children and adults alike. Everyone will know discipline."

Today's the Day I've waited for, the opening of something unique is going down at Wandering's Cheesezerium, it's gonna be quite intresting.

I heard the news that two bodies showed up this morning, God this town is getting violent each time a porno umd passes by. I hope everything will be fine.

Just as he was squashing a cockroach with a small lump of rock-hard bread, Wandering looked up and saw that someone had just arrived.

'"Someone's actually shown up for the unveiling?" Wandering mubled. Then, recognition: "Ah, MysticGohan, my favorite customer. You're just in time. Before we begin, though, I have the most delicious sheep's cheese I want you to try. Here." Wandering hands over a small, scruptious sampling.

"Now then. Lady or gentleman. I am pleased to present, the fountain!" Wandering rips the cloth off and reveals an especially large, pearl white, intricatley carved foutain of dreams. "Behold! the power of cheese (tm)," Wandering intones, as warm cheese fondue slowly starts bubbling out of the top.

Wandering then smiles, bows, and hands Mystic Gohan a fondue fork and a small lump of rock-hard bread. "Err. Bread isn't really my speciality. But enjoy." Wandering turns to go back to the cheese bar, but then looks back: "Oh. One more thing. The fountain has a special, some might say....revolutionary feature. But the people who are leasing me the thing aren't letting me show that feature off until tomorrow for some reason. So I hope you'll come back then."

Wow, very impressive Wandering, I've never seen anything quite like it, It's bound to be a hit with the folks around here, now all we need is some crackes, grits and smoke links and we'd be set for a fountain party dinner buffete

So, it's almost certain that the acting reggie godfather will kill the rat soon, right?

So, mr. rat, why don't you just come out in the open and tell us everything you know? What have you got to lose?

Speaking of bandwagon, we should start voting now. But who?

I know! Let's vote for ourselves!

EDIT: Shyguy has a better idea!

EDIT: Wandering has a good rebuttal.

Mario didn't vote for AnimeRat. Is he part of the Reggie Mafia? Mario is an italian name

...Yet Mario did vote for pale, part of the Kaplan Mafia. Is ShyGuy part of the Kaplan mafia?

ShyGuy is Perrin Kaplan's favorite mario character

edit: stabby beats me with his razor-sharp wit.  Razor sharp wit that is suspiciously similiar to the razor sharp razor blades mafia members use to kill their enemies....
