Topic: I had a dream last nite and it was about the rev

Its funny because never have I been as excited for a game system as I am for the Revolution, theres so many things I can't wait to try out and its driving me crazy. Anyways I had a dream I just got a Revolution last nite, and in my dream it was the launch day andit was like in September cuz it was rigth after my birthday.


Anyways ok heres how it went

I was playing Sonic Mega Collection on my rev and I was using teh revmote to play, I dont knwo if the ref will actualy allow for this but in my dream it did, and I ws playing Sonic makign him jump and spin dash by moving the remote around, and in my dream, it respionded so perfectly and I was liek "wow its more fun than I had thought it would be" and I was looking at the other games I got, and in the dream I ought all the launch titles but tehyre werent what iw as expecting there was a Wario world type game and aYoshi island type game but that was it. Anyways I was sitting ther on my bed playing the Rev and I had this feeling inside that was undescribable and when i wooke up it made me realize a couple things.



First I have NEVER looked forward to playing a game system in my life like I am now looking forward to playing the rev its wierd cuz with GC and Xbox I been getting broed latley and was thinking maybe I am getting tired of video games altogether.


The  other thing I realized and the dream made me think about was I have been having doubts about hwo the revmote will work on tarditional games, and its wierd because I havent even given it a thought for a few weeks and when i was playing that game in my dream I just felt so cool, like nothing I ever done before. I havent even played the rev yet and I am now conviced the revmote will work, and it was only a dream but I think it means something. Wierd huh.




Ok anyways I just wanted to share that cuz it was something that I felt yo guys might wanna hear about now.


Anybody else have dreams about the rev? Its so wierd cuz I wasnt even thinking about it at all, I mean I been busy arguing tech talk with everybody and stupid stuff thast irrelevant, Bring on the FUN Nintendo!

I don't dream much about games, even though it's been a habit for the past while for me to be playing my GBA SP and DS deep into the night, hours past when anyone expects me to have already gone to sleep.

Neat dream, I guess...I guess the fact that you're dreaming about it really shows that you're looking forward to it, but I find it amazing that it supposedly taught you to appreciate the "Revmote" more.

Maybe the "Revmote" is a very natural control scheme after all.

I regularly dream about games (sometimes I get pretty cool ideas) but less as playing them and more as participating in them. Sometimes I dream of living in a police state (1984, for example) but I'm not a rebel, just a normal worker.

I'm VERY skeptical about the revmote and 2d games. It just doesn't seeeeem right, you know what I'm saying. It just seems very weird and awkward.

But, if you had such a wonderful time....an undescribable time, maybe there is some hope afterall.

It would work great. Take sonic, Move the revmote to the right of the tv and it act as hitting right of the d pad and sonic will walk-run depenting on how far you move it, b to jump, & a to dash.

Last night I had a dream that I was Arthas from Warcraft and I had all this crazy gear. But other than that, Im always having dreams of meeting Shiggy. Then last September I actually did meet him!...but I still dream about it anyway.

I was in a carriage with Iwata and Miyamoto. In the middle of a HUGE world with forestry and mountains in the background and fields and all. Turns out I was actually inside the Pikmin world, with them all around and completely contrasting the realistic world.. And apparently I was actually getting a tour of the virtual Pikmin world that Nintendo developed. In fact, Iwata mentioned that he "developed" that forest in the background himself. I think I said something about how nice it looked, and he acted like his usual modest self

its just weird cuz I have been a  skeptic of the revmote and having a dream where it was fun just got me thinking it might actually be fun. I usually dream about real people and things from my life rarely video games, and when I do its never playing a game its always me in side a game so this dream was weird for me.



Anyways yeah now I have to hate Nintendo for infiltrating my dreams.

Like some others here, when I dream about videogames, I'm usually in them. It can be rather stressful when a giant alien wants to kill you.

Last night I dreamt of owning a cabin.  I drove straight across a lake that was all dried up (this part may have come from all the warm dry weather my city was having up until yesterday) and up a nasty dirt hill that I'm sure I couldn't drive up in real life unless I had a Hummer or something.  At the top I had a cabin, I'd just bought it, and the outhouse needed cleaning, but it was okay.  Strangely, even though my cabin was on top of a hill above a dried-out lake, there was another, very full lake on the opposite side of the cabin.  You could walk over to the beach from the outhouse in about 10-20 steps.
Oh yeah, and all through this dream I had some made-up big band tune going in my head.  I wish I could remember the lyrics.

I think being on the Planet GameCube forums more than I should while at work is influencing my dreams.

This morning, before waking up, Reggie was in my dream.  He was apparently being asked a question and he had some enigmatic answer.  Something about nines, nones, ones, and eights.  And then I took offense or at least was shocked at the frankness of his answer.  I really have no idea what it was about now though.

Just like all of you, I am usually in the game.

For instance, I was in  a RE4 type atmosphere with hordes of zombie/people/cannibal things trying to eat me. As I would run away, in my mind I would plan out my next move. Like, I ran into an abandoned factory, and the only way out was through this broken window about 30 ft high. So I thought to myself, I have to jump up those boxes, wall-kick-jump on to a chain that crossed the factory horizontally, then shimmy accross the chain, then flip myself up acrobatic style up to a higher chain (this one hanging vertically from the ceiling), then swing back and forth till I finally jumped out the window.........

I had to do something incredible like that at least 20 times throughout the dream.
