""NINTENDO DS Lite" press conference is ZEPP Tokyo on February 15.
4:46 Friday, February 3, 2006

Nintendo seems to hold the press conference at which "NINTENDO DS Lite" can be experienced by inviting the mass communication and the person related to circulation etc. in ZEPP Tokyo on Wednesday, February 15 as told the other day. The schedule that a trend and a new lineup etc. of DS since the sales battle are open to the public at the end of the year is submitted and I want to expect it of information.

NINTENDO DS Lite can adjust the brightness of the screen to five stages with a high-ranking model of DS that is miniaturized and lightened. It is put on the market for 16800 yen on March 2. An official site is a schedule that is open to the public in a few days. By the way, 50 points seem to adhere to the point of the club NINTENDO (It is possible to register up to two a person). .

It seems to mainly focus on DS Lite, but also it says the "new lineup" schedule and it tells me that "I want to expect it of information."

We spend far too much time counting the hours...

What's the count to E3 again?

Never happening.  Nintendo had a chance to completely shut out all competition but failed.  DS production is ending this June.

A web browser is good news, but I don't care.  It's just good because if that's true, it'll put PSP to shame as far as that goes.

A HUGE new profile DS game is interesting, though

The opera web browser looks incredibly awesome.

oh, and the tv tuner, if it even comes to the us, sounds cool, but it wouldn't be useful for long...

I think a Fitness Training game would be more suited to Revolution =D

The TV Tuner to me seems pretty useless, and it probably wont come out of Japan, but it does look pretty nice.

The Web Browser, I also think is useless, but seems pretty cool how they got it working on DS

You basically have a full zoomed out view of the page on the bottom, and you touch wherever you want to read and it shows you it zoomed in at the top.

i highly doubt the capabilites of the web browser, if the psp's memory can't handle certain highend sites how in the world could the ds sustain mediocore sites?  If the browser ends up decent though i'll cram my fist into my mouth and force myself to buy one!

man I'm pretty disapointed with the web browser. I'm not disapointed with how it looks like its going to work, I'm disapointed cause its Opera. I was really hoping for a Browser based on Mozilla or even KHTML source. I think its very unlikely I pick up a copy of the web browser if it ever makes it to the USA.

Everything else thats has been announced is cool!
I'm curious on how the TV tuner will work. If its like the GameGear one I'll pass.

The TV Tuner would be sweet if and only if it has some kind of A/V in ports on it (which, judging by the pics, it doesn't).  But it'd be neat.

Opera is a decent web browser, and unlike Mozilla they're a profit company. Mozilla couldn't release a DS browser unless Nintendo produced it themselves, and it wouldn't be as good a business deal.
