Here's what I'm doing, in order:

1. Play through Majora's Mask (started last night, in fact)
2. Get the rest of the figurines in Wind Waker
3. Buy/play Minish Cap (may do this before/during the figurine quest)
4. Play a little bit of all the Zelda games I already own
5. Beat Adventures of Link (ha ha, yeah right)
6. Buy/play Four Swords Adventures (could happen)
7. Buy/play the Oracles games (about as likely as beating Adventures of Link).
That's my opinion, not yours.
Now Playing: The Adventures of Link, Super Street Fighter 4, Dragon Quest IX

It's really good.  Better than the Oracle games.  But Link's Awakening was better.

Last night, I put up the Zelda: Oracle Of Seasons maps as Maps Of The Month for February 2006 (VGMaps.com, if you didn't know).  Looking over the maps of Ages and Seasons is reminding me that I don't remember these games much.  I played them once; most Zelda games I play twice without usually meaning to.

If I didn't have so many other Zelda-related things to do for the first time, I would want to finish these a second time at some point.  (Well, some games like The Legend of Zelda in Animal Crossing and Zelda II on the Collectors Edition disc I thought I finished at some point on the NES, but they made the list...I guess I'm not consistent...)

Hey, I just tell it how it is.  Perhaps Toruresu hasn't played Link's Awakening.  If that's the case I'd tell him to go buy it over Minish Cap.

I was playing the Wind Waker recording all the special moments last year, now I hope to finish if I ever have the time and to secretly erase the game slot of Majora's Mask of my brother to replay the game again.

I have quite a bit to do...

I need to actually beat Majoras Mask...I'm currently stuck in the Goron Ice Temple thing....

It'd be nice to beat OOT and WW again, and I probably need to finish the Master Quest.

I also need to find EVERY LAST KINSTONE in Minish Cap...I think I have one left, and I refuse to beat the game until I find it.

I have up on the Hylian Loach long ago...

Alas...I'm going to have to wait until the Rev comes out before I can play any of the GB Zelda games, as I don't have the money to buy a GB compatible type game, and I'm hoping they will let you download GB games.  I've heard Bill praise Links Awakening over and over, so I'd like to se what all the fuss is about.

And...erm....

I think thats it.

Worms DS and KH2 should also do well to tide me over.

Hurry up and finish Majora's Mask.

That should narrow things down for you.

Majora's Mask is awesome.

All those who said "it looks too much like OoT" and/or "I don't get the time system" need to shut up and actually play it.

Unfortunately, I don't have the cartridge...I beat it on a rental but didn't actually "have" it until I got the Zelda Collectors Edition Disc.  I beat it again there.

Why didn't they make all of the Zelda cartridges and discs gold?

Because for once Nintendo wanted to do something nice for its loyal fans that buy systems/games when they come out instead of screw them over with special editions six+ months after release.

Yeah, but Majora's Mask wasn't gold.  None of the Game Boy games I can recall were gold.

Anyway, I came across an old Zelda commercial...no, not THAT one...WTF.

A lot of people have seen this one too, but since I'm here: Link looks like a girl, but dances well at the time...

Majora's Mask wasnt bright gold, it was an opaque gold wich actually fits with the overall mood of the game now that I think about it.

and lol at those commercials, they are awesome.

Oh, maybe I don't remember the Majora's Mask cartridge then.  Since I originally finished that on a rental and din't own it...but I thought it was grey.  Huh.

Yeah, MM was gold and had one of those stickers that transitioned when you moved it.  Mine was, anyway.

I'm not going to do anything in preparation.  I might play the original Zelda, which I've hardly played, much less beaten.  But that'd be all.

Oh, at first I didn't understand this but now I see how you misunderstood my probably unclear question.

I didn't mean, "why isn't every copy a gold edition (of the games that have them)?" but rather "why don't all games have a gold version?"

You guys have pointed out that Majora's Mask is gold-ish despite my bad memory here, but I don't think all of the games are gold.  I don't recall the Game Boy games being gold, but feel free to prove me wrong.

I want the hologram and controller T_T

I thought that gold cratridges were only if you preorder, which made a very happy man when I got Majora's Mask and to my surprise it was the gold one, I thought it was impossible to get a gold one over here.

but now that I think about it, did the Wind Waker have not-gold disks?

Wind Waker had both gold discs and packaging.  Mine did, anyway.

"temple minibosses ROCKED"

This is, in all honesty, my biggest disappointment in regards to Wind Waker.  I wanted special mini-bosses.
Luckily, it appears as though they might be making a return for Twilight Princess

How about that uber-mage(forgot his name) that invoked darknuts, moblins, other mages, etc etc, etc in the Wind Temple? he was even harder than Ganon.

Beat Adventure of Link last night!!! Which completes my collection, so I can finally say that (CD-i games excluded) I've completed all the Zelda games (Master Quest included) at least once each. I'm a happy man! Although it's now going to be a long wait til Twilight Princess!

The mage in WW doesn't compare with the likes of PSYCHO FROG and BATMAN and DISCO WIZARD and EYEBALL THING CAMEO FROM LINK TO THE PAST and a handfull of other cool critters.

WW's minibosses were largely variants of regular enemies, or introductions to what would become regular enemies.

Oh I wasnt implying they can even compare, just that they existed. the one with the death-like scythe surrounded by bats and uber gaaro (forgot the name too ) were my favorites.
