Splinter Cell's demo on the PC is out. I think it's awesome. But should I wait until it comes out on the GC or just buy it now on the PC? The GC version has GBA connectivity...

Who can say?  The GCN version isn't exactly out or even done yet, you know?  It could be worth waiting for but, again, who can say?

i have it for X-Box and here is what i say.  First of all the game is definetly awsome.  2nd, it is in no way PC material.  The controls just wouldn't fit.  The mouse would be near obsolete, and you would probaly have to use arrow keys.  I think it will be worth the Cube wait for the GBA hookup.  If the hook up is indeed your palm pilot as is rumored, it would make the game twice as good, since those menu's are a tad frustrating.  Wait for the Cube.

What is this about a palmpilot hook up? For the GC, right?

your menu in Splinter Cell is a palm pilot.  You constantly are getting updates and info on the pilot, plus you save your game from there.  If you had the GBA as your Palm, you could read the info, or look up door lock nubers and passwords on the fly, without going in and out of menus.

oh.... ok.... I though you meant a REAL palm pilot....that would be difficult...
But the GBA / Palm would be nice

RahXephon, I beg to differ.  I just got the PC version of Splinter Cell and I must say that it's so much better than the XBox version.  First off, the keyboard/mouse control combo gives it better control.   Aiming is so much better and it allows for snap speed targeting.  If you have a fairly good rig, then I would definitely suggest the PC version over the consoles.  I have a 1.4Mhz Athlon with 768MB DDR and a GeForce 3 and the game runs really smooth on my system at 1024 x 768 with details at the highest settings.  I also can't wait to see what the MOD community will have over the comming months.

Just get it on the GC cause it really is a console game.

I just can't imagine playing it on a PC.  (have the game for xbox.  Wasn't my cup of tea.  Looking to get Ghost Recon.)
