A new publisher comes out of the woodwork with some next-gen Nintendo titles in the pipeline. You probably haven't heard of AQ Interactive. The new Japanese company has managed the development of a few games, the most familiar to Nintendo fans being the Artoon-developed Yoshi Topsy Turvy for Game Boy Advance.
During a press conference in Tokyo eariler today, AQ announced that they will begin to publish games on their own label instead of through third parties. With this announcement came one of game projects in development across all next-gen console and handheld systems, including the Nintendo DS and the Revolution. Two for each the Nintendo systems, in fact.
For the DS, an adventure game and an educational game were shown to be in development. For Revolution, AQ Interactive has an original action game in the works, as well as a title based on a major comic license. The Revolution games weren't mentioned to be on the PS3 or Xbox 360, so it appears that the games will be exclusive to Revolution.
No time frames were mentioned for any of the Nintendo titles revealed, so we'll have to wait until at least E3 to see how developmnent on the games are coming along. We'll keep our eyes peeled for more Revolution game announcements and let you know as soon as we do!
