Woah.  Apparently there's a lot more online games than what Darkheart listed.

I suppose just about everything announced on "WiFi Wednesday" onwards is considered second-gen DS games.  They all definitely look the part.

Surprisingly enough, I just found out that the Tales Studio, who did pretty much every other Tales game including Symphonia, did not develop Tempest. It was outsourced to Dimps, who also took care of Sonic Rush for SEGA.

The videos of over a year ago still look amazing, and it's no doubt pushing the DS. I'm a bit more wary now, though, since Dimps doesn't have any prior experience with the franchise. I loved Rush, but they had been doing the Sonic GBA games for a while before, so I don't know how well they handled a Tales game.

Of course, if it doesn't come out here, this is irrelevant.

This game lost me at "1 Player".

The only reason to play Symphonia, for me anyway, was the multiplayer combat. To be fair, that might just be because once you and a friend have mastered your technique of raw-combo slaughtering bosses (even the last one), every other aspect just seems dull by comparison.
