December 2005 issue of Edge - anyone got it?
« on: November 27, 2005, 08:54:38 AM »
Dec. 2005 issue of Edge has controller impressions. Probably not anything new, but more perspective:

They're one of the only game mags around that isn't full of it. I'd subscribe if it weren't $110 for 13 issues, which is bloody murder.

So...does anyone have it?

That's probably the price of keeping "it" out of the magazine...

110 for 13 issues!? WHAT? Why would anybody pay that!? That's over $9 an issue!

1. Well, it's a british magazine so you're paying british prices.
2. I think they're holding back on ads so they have to make up for that somehow.
3. It's the only unbiased magazine left so they can afford asking that.

What really kills me about Edge is that if you signed up, you could get these absolutely BEAUTIFUL shirts.  I just want the shirts.  My god.  Almost, almost enough to make me shell out for it.

Speaking of which, if anyone knows where I can just purchase the shirts...

Right, so I'm assuming that none of you actually have it...c'mon, are there no Brits on PGC? (btw, do Brits not like being called Brits?)

I beleive KDR is in some...European country.  At least he talks about going to conferences in that part of the world.  Maybe in Germany?  I wouldn't know.

I know Plugabugz is in good old Britain.  KDR is in Germany.  I don't think anyone subscribes to Edge, though.
I really should, if it's available in America.  It's a great magazine.

Gamebasher is from somewhere inside the UK as well but I don't think anyone listens to that guy.

Yeah, it's available here, but like I said, it's more than $100/13 issues. (~62 GBP) Aight, so I guess we're outa luck...for now...
