I just thought people who keep giving the GCN crap for having a handle might want to check out the handled model of the xbox 360.

It looks like there were two handled designs.  It might've meant that they considered keeping the handle after one handled design was scrapped.  But that's just assuming that they were from the same design group...

The Xbox 360 doesn't look so ugly compared to its design concepts...a slab...a building block for the wall of a padded room...a couple armored briefcases...is that a lunchbox?  Sheesh.  That last one looks almost exactly like this ugly monitor stand I used to have.

I never thought the handle on the Cube was a bad thing.  I just think it combined with the cube shape and the purple colour made it look like a toy.  Just having a handle on something that looked more hi-tech would probably have been alright.  My guitar amp has a handle and it doesn't look like a toy.  It's all in the execution.  A lunchbox design was bad but a briefcase design probably would have been considered pretty stylish.

I don't know, I don't think you can get a handle on a console without it looking a little odd, personally.  It stands out especially with the GameCube's shape, but I dont think it would have been much better received in any case.

Of course, the handle is still totally useful, I just don't know if it's usefulness overcomes it's intrusiveness on design.
That's my opinion, not yours.

No that not can be possible, I do not like the Xbox but I do like waffles.  That being said I vote for the GameWaffle to adapt Mrs.Buttersworth as their mascot!  Tho, it would not be your average Mrs.Buttersworth, it would be the hardcore more mature.  Mrs. Buttersworth is not for teh I LOVE HALO 2z  "BUTTER BELIEVE IT B!TCH!" could be the GameWaffle's motto, just a thought.
