Since my last post was banned I guess I have to post it here, which is the scariest Resident Evil out for the GC? Should I wait for the next one, or just pick up the ones that are out.

Don't worry about the sighting; you barely need to sight in multiplayer mode because you will always be worried about your friends or the bots getting you from behind, but to answer that question no it is not that sensitive that it is unplayable.  Best FPS on GC, Nightfire:Goldeneye can't even stack up to this on my opinion.

I think all the RE games are all moderately even in my scarey scale, but if you want something new out of all of them, i would go with RE0 2 characters at the same time is fun, and not as easy as you think it will be.

Nightfire better then Goldeneye? No way. Nightfire best FPS on GC? Absolutely not. Medal of Honor easily beats Nightfire, and one of the best if not the best is Timesplitters 2.

Let me put that in a not confusing way.

Metroid Prime is the best FPS.  But not because it's a FPS.

Hell ya I am...

I like getting into games, and the RPG genre is the only one that usually has a really good storyline. Sure there are a few exceptions (metriod Zelda eternal darkness), but most good storylines are in the RPG genre. Also RPGs last a hell of alot longer then most games....

I agree with the sentiment. I play most of my games for the Story line, or interesting action. RPG is my favorite gaming genre.

i realized that people who don't have a gamecube criticize those who do by saying that GC doesn't have a DVD player or good games. When i rebuttle by saying that Zelda WW is the best game ever, they reply by saying "the graphics suck, they made it stupid", while i like the graphics. So i say that Animal Crossing is also a good game, but they say it's too kiddie. So... It goes on like that. But what people don't realize is that ps2 has no good games that are exclusive, and you can count the number if xbox exclusives on one finger. So I say, "what is a good game for xbox?" they say, Halo. I say, name another and they go "Uhhhhhh." exactly. I just wanted to put that up. Do these types of conversations happen to y'all?

yes, all the time

anyways, my question, is Splinter Cell a good game?
Im considering to buy it, and I would like some feedback on its quality. It did get good scores but also less impressive scores, so I ask for your advice

I hear that the game is short, if your experienced with stealth shooters. But the real flexibility is how you complete the mission. Your free to go on any path you choose.
Theres also GBA connectivity with the GBA version to download levels to the GBA game. Without it, its used as a radar.

Personally, I thought that Splinter Cell had some serious gameplay flaws.  The level design at times was simply stupid in particular.  However, all faults aside, I think the game is very good, and definately worth the money to buy it.  The GameCube port is also fairly good.  I haven't played the Xbox or PC versions, but I have seen the head to head comparison video on IGN, and I thought that some levels in the GameCube/PS2 version actually looked better than the PC/Xbox version, and I didn't have any problems with the GameCube one myself.  I thought the GBA weapons were quite fun too.
