Need help with Top Gun: Combat Zones Code

I've been to several sites, and they say use SHPONGLE as a name, and that unlocks all planes/levels. But when I did that nothin' happened. Is there something else I need to do?

Sorry, I can't help with the code thing. BUT, how are you liking the game. I am 27 & me & my dad loved the Top Gun on the NES. Is it good or fun?

Yeah dude I'm 23, and it's one of the most underrated games on the Cube. It's very fun. Not too hard, not too easy 36 levels. I beat it already, but it was on EASY. But you get 4 different planes if you  beat the game, but there are like 7-8 total, including a Helicopter. Graphics are pretty good too.
