How dose Evil Arts kept getting away with selling the same game over and over again? street fighter did it for a few year but ea hasn't made a new madden game since 88! I know most sport fan are slow in the head but this is so supid a brain dead person can see though it. /rant

It's more a vague pity that you don't experience anime the way it should be, with the real acting intact ; )

Oh, dubbed anime, easily. Dubbing is the audio equivalent of "pan scanning" a movie into Full Screen instead of keeping the intended widescreen aspect ratio that the filmmakers intended. My hate for dubbing voice in anime, movies, and games is as boundless as it is intense.

While I watch all anime subtitled (and all foreign films too, for that matter) I've read that there are several anime directors who would prefer you watch their films dubbed.  (I believe Miyazaki is one of them.)  They feel if you have to read the dialogue you can't properly watch the movie and you miss many of the finer parts of the animation such as facial expressions.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

On a side note to Paladin:  This could be why many video games don't have subtitles these days.  Developers (and animators) spend so much time creating the visuals they'd rather you watch that than text on the bottom three inches of the screen.

That seems more than a bit selfish. Whoever doesn't include them at all should at least include an option for them - having everyone understand what's going on seems a lot more important than having everyone admire their animations to me.
