Topic: Iwata delivers keynote at TGS Sept 16, Rev Revealed?

As we all know, Nintendo wasn't going to attend the Tokyo Game Show this year.  

According to Famitsu, they've changed their minds apparently and Iwata is going to be delivering the keynote speech at 11 am 9/16 (right after someone from Microsoft, ironically).  Iwata will be delivering a 50-minute speech on Nintendo's "Past and Future" where they will "make clear" their strategy to avoid gaming's saturated state.  This could very well be the unveiling of the revolutionary feature(s)/controller of the Revolution as TGS is the equivalent of our E3.

I think Iwata delivered keynotes even when Nintendo wasn't present at the TGS. And I think we saw the same kind of speculation about the DS. Everybody was like "the NEXT tradeshow! That's where they're going to unveil it!".

I would not get my hope up that Nintendo will show anything at this time.

I mean I guess it is possible, but more than likely he is just there as an industy professional talking about his views on the industry.

Talking about the past and future of Nintendo could be very vague or really specific.  I expect it to be vague and talk about ideas and philosophies for the company.

Actually, judging from what they've done in the past, they'll release a few more tiny tidbits about the Rev to get fanboys chomping at the bit.

Probably more details about what the connection with the DS will yield, if that pans out... if not, more details about the downloadable games.

Every japanese person at TGS would cower at the sight of REGGIE's mightiness.  It'd be a disaster for all the game companies, when REGGIE walks the floors, taking names, everyone drops what they're doing and falls on their ass.

Maybe, The only way of knowing the revolution is coming are "quote""on""quote" "leaks" (like ds) before the storm of nintendo and REGGIE's might and I see no leaks so far.
