Actually, the only thing pointing to 10am was the Nintendogs pic, but guess what? It WAS 10am when they were demoing it live then, so that meant nothing. May 19 is what's been highlighted numerous times, there's still a whole day for something to happen.

Now lets go about our sad lives mourning the obvious doom of NIntendo.  They didn't deliver and now we can all cry ourselves to sleep and realize Revolution will be Nintendo's last system, and after it fails a metero will fall from the sky destorying anything left of Nintendo where we won't even have Nintendo games.

Then MS and Sony will rule the world with ultra violent games that promote 6 years olds becoming adults and killing prostitutes and starting wars with alien races.

this is really whats heading our way, the hundred, thousands of "Nintendo's Rev is doom3d" posts, editorials and articles. But I think that we are already used to it, I am.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo was doing something today behind closed doors.  They have to show third parties the Rev in detail so they could be showing them that today with a few members of the press present.  But that press is likely signing NDAs and can't reveal the goods until Nintendo reveals the Rev in more detail to the public.  That possibility is not unbelievable.  But they're not going to have second conference or anything.  We'll find out everything later.

Nintendo needs to reveal as many details about the Revolution as possible, without compromising their supposed innovations. If they don't want to show the controller. Fine. At this point, I don't care any more. But, they need to show the system's graphical power off ASAP and let the general gaming public know they are still in the game.

LIVE FROM THE NINTENDO BOOTH.

glen, ricardo and myself are standing outside the vip area of nintendos booth right now. I see no thursdayton.

although...within the last few mintues, 20+ of some of nintendos top employees from japan have been seen around the VIP entrance. you can bet me and glen took names =p

anyhow, large groups of japanese men in suits keep flooding into the VIP area. a group of about 10 just went in. a quick look at their badge revealed they work for "sharp", the screen makers.

this probably has nothing to do with thursdayton. rather all theser people just happen to have meetings with iwata and reggie heh.

*update* as I was typing this, literally about 50 more guys went in. their badge said "yamaguchi co. ltd"

we aren't familiar with it so maybe someone can look it up.

behind the scenes unveiling to key financial partners?  wonder whats really going on in the VIP area.

Ian:  I am sure that has been happening before E3 and all throughout E3.  There are alot of developers and I am positive that Nintendo has to show them the goods so they can begin initial development of the system.

The only thing that confuses me is the design of the Revolution.  You realise with the design they have that you have to either pull the system out of storage to easily play 4 player games standing up right, or twist the console after loading the game in to access the Gamecube controller ports.

This is very bad design, and just doesn't feel like Nintendo.

Has anyone tried to update the Nintendo Cameras.  They are supposed to be updated every 2 minutes, but I have been trying to update for the last 6 or more minutes with nothing new.

The 3 images I get are:

Camera One:  The Screen looks like it is spelling Namco and GAM...

Camera Two:  The usual shot doesn't look different.

Camera Three:  Has three people starring at the fake trees in awe.

I don't think its anything, but I will try rebooting the camera system up.

I still don't believe the hype.

IGN just put up an interview with Miyamoto. Apparently conducted yesterday. In the interview he says since Revolution is at least a year away, the focus is on the here and now and that the new system won't have a full E3 appearance until next year's show. He didn't rule out the possibilty of a SpaceWorld later this year.

He also specifically mentioned their need to remain secretive due to the fear of Sony & MS stealing their ideas like they did in the past (spefically, analog stick and rumble features).
