Apparently in the Nintendo On fake video you can hear the words "a man named Reggie", around the 2:20 mark, really softly, you have to turn the volume up, I can hear mumbling... couldn't decipher it though, so I put headphones on turned it up as loud as i coudl take, and I swear I heard the word Reggie, couldn't decipher the full thing though. It gets repeated over and over a few times.

Does anyone else hear anything?

Just musing, but wouldn't it also be horrible timing for Nintendo to do this on the day that the new Star Wars film opens in theaters? You know the mainstream media is going to be all over that, hard to imagine Rev making a huge splash there on account of it.

I'm not saying it's false simply on those grounds, but it doesn't seem like a wise move for Nintendo at all.

If they could announce some shockingly wonderful SW-themed launch title, it could play to their advantage.

Basically though, I don't see the mainstream media paying much attention to a Nintendo console either way. The rev could be derived from alien technology they found in a crater in Mongolia, have more processing power than all the supercomputers in the world, turn your bedroom into a fully functional holodeck, and cost less than a pack of chewing gum, and the mainstream is still going to say "but they're missing the key 2005 Xmas season!"

Hey all, quick update:

1: I talked with a member of a gaming mag/website (Gaming Edge or something like that?) He said that he has a meeting with Nintendo on Thursday, which is tomorrow. I know this because I was talking with him inside E3 personally. Yes, I am in LA right now. I do NOT know if there is going to be anything new announced or clarified, only that he said that he had a meeting.

2. PS3 is only there in video form, I haven't seen anything playable on the show floor.

3. Xbox 360 is playable in the ATi booth, I suck at Need For Speed: Most Wanted

4. Downloadable demos and video for the DS is good. However, only having at most 12 slots per game/demo and as few as 2 (Electroplankton) sucks. "Communication Error" screen showed up at least a dozen times as I tried to get ANYTHING. I finally managed to get the Zelda Gallery to download which was actually really neat. There was at least 30 people around the server at all times just whoring it.

5. You probably don't believe that I'm at E3 so I'm going to link you to the photobucket site that I made today, the pic was taken with a Sony Cybershot 7.2 MP Digital Camera so its a rather large (2.4mb) pic. Have fun.

6. Another thing you won't believe is that Gizmondo is there and they have the hottest booth babes as well as the hottest car. (Porsche Carrera GT) and thats what I'm linking you to.
