Alright more! MORE MORE MORE!

Quote

If anyone can come up with what this number could mean: 211 348 824
It's the number at which the castle counter in the ON video stops at for a moment.

Alright, let's speculate.

211 + 348 + 824 = 1383 .... hmm, that mean anything? Most likely not!

all those numbers added individually equals 25.. that mean anything? I.. dont think so.

Nintendo’s 2005 booth, and its slate of games, is all together luminous, daunting, and memorable.

Word has it a secret alcove can be found deeper within the creature which houses the precious Nintendo Revolution. But gaining access to the Shangri-la of tomorrow’s video game generation is to remain an electronic dream.

The latest thing going around is that the 512,000,000 in the Nintendo ON video = 512 MB of Flash memory.

This happens of course, after the big timeline showing all the previous Nintendo systems and showing Mario 64 (talking about the downloadable games)?

There also was a cryptic comment on the Broken Saints Blog Tuesday about how people should "prepare to be underwhelmed, it'll make it all the more enjoyable later".

Ok, what the hell? Why are people talking about the Nintendo ON video? I mean, it was awesome, but it was proven fake.

Nintendo.com just reported more details on FF:CC Revolution to be announced in the near future.  They also released this statement from Square/Enix:

"We would like to strongly support Nintendo's next-generation networking plans," said Yoichi Wada, president of Square Enix. "The Revolution may embody a new platform beyond a portable or console, which makes possible a new structure in the network gaming system, changing the ways communities are built and supported. This is the kind of direction we've envisioned, and we will challenge ourselves to provide immersive interactive content in response to what Nintendo offers."

"OMG I can't believe it!!! The signs are there from the start yet we haven't seen them before. Finally let the truth be told that "Reggie Fils-Aime is Aries." That was from a phone call I just got. The thought of this is so damn funny I just had to post it.  Of course the only thing she had to back this up was  that you can spell "Aries" from "Reggie Fils-Aime". Wow! When the internet spreads to phone calls, I know the end is near. Although...ahh don't let me start placing pieces together. I can come up with some sith for that a$$.

Yes I have, and all I see is that someone registered "NintendoOn.com" under the name "Reginald Fils-Aime". Which really means nothing, I can change the domain name for my site, Tohokingdom.com, to read the same thing if I really wanted to. Most domain hosts allow you to change that information once you have paid for the domain. Besides, the idea that Reggie himself would "sign the check" for the domain name seems pretty out there as is.

This whole thing is really crazy ^_^

But anything related with the Nintendo On video is really wild imagination, maybe if you could read those vandal.net forums you'd know why any crazy theory its just false. Those guys do fakes all the time, including the Mario Universe video or the fake E3 catalog from a year ago I think. They even made a FF fake and a MM's fake. really what was the point of all those castles? to show the Rev is powerfull? thats nothing revolutionary! the video is really cool, but please dont overthink about it, its a fake made by a fan with too much time in his hands.

Yeah, the early shots from the Nintendo Booth had a big neon blue sign saying "CLUB REVOLUTION"  Rember?

Wow.

If this isn't real, I'll be more impressed than if it is real.  Wow.

Also, IGN is reporting a power outage at the convention center.  http://cube.ign.com/articles/615/615881p1.html

Weird.

The one thing that throws all of this off for me is, if Nintendo was working with Matt Cassamassina and IGN, why didn't IGN create a Revolution areas, like it created PS3 and Xbox 360 areas?  Perhaps this is all part of the plan - "to throw us off," but I took it more that IGN felt Nintendo wasn't going to show anything that warranted the creation of a seperate area from GameCube (like, for example, confirmation of a final name).

This is awesome. I'm giddy. I don't think I can say anything that hasn't already been said..... I don't want to get my hopes up....but it makes too much sense.
- The e3 videos on the website felt like they were leading up to something big. Not only did they get me very excited, but they made me feel like Nintendo had an ultra-cool plan in the works, and Nintendo has never done anything like that before.
-The "think with your right brain" and "puzzle-box" comments are way too strange to just be throw-away marketing chatter. ("Be prepared to let your right brain run wild" was the last thing said at the conference! Could they have picked an odder note to go out on?)
- Announcing the details of the Revolution before the conference, without announcing the bad news that nothing else would be shown, was a very strange move from a marketing perspective.
- aries has gotten everything right so far, and he's apparently saying more will be shown on thursday.
- IGN hasn't been whining about Nintendo's poor showing, which is very uncharacteristic.
- Nintendo has never shown how a system will look before explaining what it will do before now.
- Nintendo, before e3, said that everything would be shown at e3.
- there's no way we won't find out all about Revolution once third parties get their hands on it, so why wouldn't Nintendo unveil the system now?

Right... I'm just watching from the sidelines now... I don't believe this anymore. It's too complicated.

Becasue different information is comming from different sources, does the complexity really matter? I mean, couldn't there be a core of truth (Nintendo will show Revolution on Thursday), while a whole lot of bs (Nintendo will show these specific games, and these people are in on it, and this is tied into it too) is being thrown into the mix?

The Nintendo Now article makes some very interesting points. Especially, in regards to what our favorites source of entertainment a few ago (Aries) had to say. It also points out how Aries' prediction appear to be coming true. Now of course this could all be a coincidence, but there appears to be something else going on.

I'm not usually one to believe in conspiracy theories, but I have to jump on the bandwagon here. I find it very odd that NOA's site was advertising NintendoNow.

If you go to NintendoOn.com, you are redirected to cube.ign.com’s section for the supposedly proven fake NintendoOn video.

I find it odd that on Nintendo's site they have the rumor about the supposedly super secret "Club Revolution".

I honestly do think showing Revolution on the 19th (tomorrow) will be much more effective than if they had let the cat out of the bag at yesterday's press conference - but I also think if that's the case, they shouldn't have even bothered to focus on Revolution at all during Iwata's presentation, other than showing the same picture that had just been released and said "This is Revolution - It will change the way you play. I would like to tell you more about about, but sadly I can't at this time. Perhaps next year, at E3". This would have pissed everyone off and allowed the big N to pull the ultimate swerve should the May 19th prophecy come true. Regardles, after yesterday’s very disappoint showing – I truly want to believe that there is a huge surprise coming our way at some point over the next 25 to 48 hours.

The more I think about this, the more I want to believe that "Aries" was/is the real deal and not just some clever Nintendo fanboy having some fun.

I have to say, I don't think yesterday's show was a dissapointment at all.  I liked EVERYTHING I saw.  And I thought it was a lot of fun, too.  I was somewhat dissapointed that more Revolution details weren't announced, but that's the Nintendo life.  We will see if that changes tomorrow...

On a different note, the NintendoNow advertisement image has dissappeared from the NintendoNow homepage.  The story is still there, though.

ds was release within a year of our first news of the 'nintendo nitro'. maybe nintendo plans on bringing on the revolution this year. it'd be really nice if the confrence was an intentional letdown. just to make the punch more powerful. but all this conspiracy viral marketing thing makes me confused. being a ninty fan for so long. i know not to get my hopes up on anything really big. we will just have to wait and see.

Too much bad press. Nintendo's no-show would be reported everywhere, and a surprise unveiling might not be able to combat the negative vibe. In fact, people would probably spin it as a desperate, last minute move.

what if this whole thing its being planned by the same guy who made the fake video of Nintendo on? If you read his "reasons" for the fake in summary he wanted to raise people's bar so high so that Nintendo needed to deliver more or the public will be dissapointed, the comments of the spokeperson of Nintendo in rumor control at gamespot makes it sound like Nintendo was kind of pissed at this guy. Now by doing this he might get people even more dissapointed,  it fits with his motivations, ( he actually wanted a VR console and not a regular console with better graphics and blah, blah blah...) I mean How hard its to register a Nintendo On domain and link it to ign's section?

However Matt not complaining at all about Nintendo's presentation is seriously mind boggling, not to mention, the Aries guys so far hasnt been debunked, everything said by Nintendo so far doesnt contradict anything he said...

Don't know if anyone's caught this. From the revolution page on nintendo.com:  "There's much more to Revolution that will be revealed over the coming months."
