Between this and Katamri Damacy, I think we've found a new gaming overlord.

Scratch has to be the worst "touch" based subtitle ever.  I mean, instead of touching the sceen we scratch it?  Scratch the screen, oh god!  I can't possibly buy this game now that I know I must scratch my screen.  O_o
It may be simple, but it ain't easy.

I would rather have scrolling backgrounds and better animation then 3d backgrounds and Joe missing frames. I'm drunk with glee at the thought of a portable viewtiful. Drunk I say!!!

By the By, if you put the Ds on one of those neck keychains(Lanyard?) it make one helluva fasion statement, well at least up here in the P/H/I/L/L/Y.

You do realize that DS games are region-free, right?  You can play any DS game on any DS system.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Joe is 3D, not sprite based.  There's no reason for anything to have missing frames because it's not even done frame by frame.  I just said the game will probably play at only 30fps if it uses both screens for 3D like I'm seeing it here.

I'm talking bout the DS Joe, I know the console version of Joe is 3D but I wasn't too sure that it could be done on the DS without changing joe to a 2D sprite. I don't know too much about how much ram is in the Ds and the graphical powers of the system so I was just saying. Thought maybe it would tax the system too much. I hope they don't pukcuf this game. My hopes are starting to fade...

So the screenshots were so awesome that you're starting to doubt the games graphics? Okay.

I don't think slowdown is even possible on the DS, the framerate will be fine

Nile: They wouldn't use what looks like gouraud shading with sharp falloff for sprites.

Well, you did know that the DS has cel-shading capabilities in hardware right?

*cough*RAYMANDS*cough*DCStudios*cough*   Now granted I don't think Capcom's gonna screw things up like that.

Also lets no forget there are LOAD TIMES in Rayman DS this is the 2nd game on a cart I have seen load times and both games are published by UbiSoft. If your wondering they are Rayman DS and Chessmaster on the GBA.

Anyways this game should squelch people who think that the DS isn't capable of stellar graphics. And I have high hopes of this game since I enjoyed VJ1 and 2 on the Cube, also I am confident with Clover as the developer.

O_O

Look.. don't ask questions... just look...

Behold!

Appearantly DS can handle 3D on 2 screens at once, very well at that.

NICE!!! I guess clover has a grasp on the graphical capabilities of the DS this looks really really great. And considering VJ is one of my fav franchises I can see myself buying this and VJ:VFX power battles on the gamecube.

Those are some nice models, I didn't expect it to look like that!  I still have to question what the framerate's gonna be on this though...

And WOW the game looks even better in motion!
