According to Cube-Europe, who recieved their information from the Nintendo Power, it seems that GameSpy and Nintendo have linked up to bring forth the Online experience.

All I can say is.......Wow. I never thought Nintendo would be this aggressive and market their product using one of the biggest, if the not the biggest, online gaming company. They had me worried with all the AOL crap, but this is just.....great.

let's hope that since Gamespy has a lot of experience in the industry, the interface of whatever they're going to do will be easy, quick, and accesible.

There were reports of Gamespy making middleware software for Nintendo a couple years ago.  Though nothing was ever finalized as to what it was for.  Initial thoughts were for Cube obviously.  But not its all finally coming to light.

I don't know why everyone seems surprised by this.  The Nintendo/GameSpy deal came out a long time ago ... but it was assumed to be for GameCube.

I wonder what type of system they'll have. Maybe something akin to Xbox Live, where you can have custom avatars, rank listings, friends list, etc.


I wonder what, if anything, this has to do with DemaSked. Seems like those poor bastards at the WarpPipe forum got their hope up for nothing.
