I have been waiting for a good Ninja Turtle Game.

Sadly I think Konami dropped the ball.  If they wanted to make a great game, they should have saved the original Port of Turtles Arcade and do a special Turtles Arcade game which features both Turtles arcade games untouched, and then added this as the bonus game.  I would have bought that.  

I still want the new turtles game for the original Arcade game, but I don't want to play through the new game to play the old game.  I just won't put myself through that...and the Ninja Turtles Arcade game was one of my all time favorite games.

You're not missing anything... the arcade port in Battle Nexus is a horribly bastardized version of the game we loved so much back in the 90s.

Yeah - Krang doesn't even say "IIIIIIII'M INVIIIIIIINCIBLE!" anymore.  They couldn't clear the rights to get the voices, so they just cut them altogether.

I'm only really familiar with the NES port, I'm afraid.  I enjoyed that version of the game way back when--it didn't have voices, but it did have the awesome remixed music.

The C64 port of the arcade game was the first game I bought boxed! Copied it to my PC later on because save states allow you to skip the starting load times and speedup the remaining ones.
