EA Confirms Fight Night Round 2 Roster

We already knew about Bernard Hopkins and Little Mac.  Now find out who else will be bruising it up next month.

Today Electronic Arts released the full roster of playable athletes in the upcoming boxing sequel, Fight Night Round 2.

The GameCube version also features Little Mac from the Punch-Out series as a playable character.  Bernard Hopkins will appear on the game's cover.

Are you kidding? One of boxing's controversial fighters of our generation? C'mon, it would've been so funny if they included him. Hell, I'm willing to bet they'll be tons templates for its Create-a-boxer on the web when the game comes out.

As far as Foreman, De La Hoya, etc (They're missing Lennox Lewis, and he basically schooled Holyfield), I remember reading an interview at Gamespot, where EA said "While we have the utmost respect for [these fighters], we wanted to keep a more recent roster and include some up-and-coming boxers." That's what they said more or less, so don't shoot the paraphraser.

Where the hell is Kostya Tszyu ?
I mean that is a nice list of seriod using boxers, but why not a real champion?
