Most people by now probably know that Gamespot has an awesome interface that keeps track of your game collections, friends, and reader reviews, as well as great forums.

So I thought all of us who visit Gamespot should post their usernames here so we can all be friends

Mine's Gamefreak72
I have some reader reviews too, although I have a weird approach to them. I have these huge charts and spreadsheets where I keep track of how good games are in specific categories (such as music, artistry, graphics engine) from 1 to 10 at the time of their release. My reader reviews don't really have much textual content (hey just read a real review if you want that), I just use them to jot down my overal impressions from games and put in the scores. Although I review all games as soon as I finish them I'm too lazy to actually update Gamespot with all of them..
Anyway...

Haha, sorry but i disagree, Gamespot has terrible forums, a horrible layout and ads everywhere and when I load the page is makes my browser go crazy for a few seconds, not to mention their laughably crappy reviews. But hey, at least they're better than IGN.

Well my browsers fine on their site, and if you pay then there aren't any ads
I think Gamespot has the best game reviews by far... Who did you have in mind that writes better reviews?

Gamespot has an idiotic score-averaging system for the final score. The final score should be based on only one factor: Fun. Graphics might influence your enjoyment but it's not a major factor.

Well then don't look at the final score or graphics score. Just look at what they give to gameplay or tilt
Besides those two things are weighted more than graphics and sound and value.
Also, you said it yourself, graphics influence the game, so they need to influence the final score. A game doesn't deserve a perfect or near perfect score if any one category is seriously bad.
Anyway like I said the graphics category hardly affects the final score anyway.
