Animal Crossing DS...
« on: February 01, 2005, 07:59:31 PM »
... Do you think it will have the cool NES games that were in the GCN version, or possibly new NES games that weren't in the GCN version?

I think that would be sweeeeet. Nintendo could possibly put those NES games that were in the Classic NES series, just so we could save some money...

Anyway, what NES games would you like to see in Animal Crossing DS?

I want third party nes games like elevator action and king's knights.  Also improving them with touch screen features would be nice.

I want online mmo style so that new nes games can be added over time... =P

The best way to create an online animal crossing game would be rather than having people visit each other's towns instead have hub cities where people can visit and congregate, this would solve the problems that will arise from visiting someone's town only to have them wander away from a hotspot.

To visit soemone else's town you would have to be within range of another DS via the current system.

I want SNES games. But of course Nintendo won't do that because they can spend about 2 hours porting an SNES game to GBA and selling it for full price.

If Nintendo can get over their unwillingness to put SNES games in Animal Crossing DS because there's still a market for them on GBA then online play coupled with voice chat and a big library of unlockable classic games would make ACDS a huge killer app.

Or Nintendo could just make the game itself a killer app by making the game awesome and not by relying on included classic games...

I'll orgasm if it includes some of their forgotten classic Game Boy games. F1 Race, Alleyway, Wave Race, WARIO BLAST, Mole Mania... (Bliss). Puke green emulation holla!

It'd kinda make sense, too. GameCube gets games from their first console, DS gets games from their first hand held. Hey Nintendo, you owe me one (1) job.

Yeah that would be cool, classic GB games in AC DS, since you can't play GB games on the DS. Or they could include entirely new mini games! Which is what Animal Crossing needs, more stuff to do. Actual stuff. To do. Gameplay.

You can find chainsaws at your local hardware store and you can find naked people in the pornography section at your nearest sleaze store...

But considering there will likely be classic games included, they should also make it so you can play those classic games in multiplayer as well...At least, those that had multiplayer to begin with...

Well, yeah, but I'd prefer virtual chinsaws since my boss said I'm not allowed to use a chainsaw with my bad eyes.
