Never seen that. I've tried finding it for quite a while now (ever since I've heard about its release in the US) but the PC version was the only one I've seen.

Devil May Cry SUCKS!

If you like beat-em-up games like that, get God Of War.

Try Costo or Sam's Club or Target.  Also, here's a link to it found at Gamestop.

Press release from NOE
Quote

11th July 2006 - In its sleek new form, the Nintendo DS Lite hit stores across Europe on 23rd June, and since then has been snapped up by eager customers, with more than 200,000 units sold in the first 10 days - proving the Nintendo DS Lite is the must have console of the summer!

The successful launch of Nintendo DS Lite, and the huge success of Nintendo’s range of Touch! Generations games, has secured Nintendo’s lead in the handheld market, with total sales of Nintendo DS now over 5 million in Europe.

"Nintendo DS has introduced thousands of new people to gaming and will continue to expand the gaming population due to its ability to appeal to both gamers and non-gamers. During Nintendo DS Lite launch weekend, retailers across Europe said that they had never seen such a vast array of different people buying the product, everyone from business men to young women to grandfathers!" said Laurent Fischer, European Marketing Director, Nintendo of Europe.

Nintendo’s Touch! Generations range, a selection of innovative software designed to appeal to people of all ages and gaming experience, is also a big hit across Europe. Following the recent launch of Nintendogs Dalmatian & Friends, total sales of all Nintendogs software has now reached a staggering 3 million in Europe. Animal Crossing: Wild World has seen similar success, selling over 600,000 copies, as well as maintaining its position within the top five software sales in the majority of countries across Europe since it launched at the end of March. There are also over 250,000 people across Europe now training their brains with Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old is Your Brain?

With many more Touch! Generations games launching this year, including the just launched Big Brain Academy, Nintendo DS will continue to be the main driving force behind the expansion of the video game market this year.

The Nintendo DS Lite is available now in black and white priced at around £99.99 (150 Euros). For all the latest information on Touch! Generation titles please visit www.touchgenerations.com.

Does anyone notice that the sales on the wikipedia articles of DS and PSP are way, way off? Someone more well-versed in editing wiki and the sales numbers needs to make that change.

Apparently DS has "16 million shipped, all versions" while PSP has "17.03 million shipped".

Just wrong in every way.

Hm... I really though DS would have a 3 million unit selling game in Animal Crossing by now. Instead it looks like New Super Mario is going to make 3 million first.

The DS now has 4 games working twords selling 3 million copies each.... wow. And we still have Pokemon Diamond/Pearl and FFIII to come this year.... Yikes.

Australian Software Sales Charts for July 9th

Brain Training shows staying power and moves up a notch. See what happens WHEN you advertise Nintendo!
They are also advertising Big Brain Acadamy, will be interesting if this makes All Format charts as well.

Any bets these are the first DS games to break the 4 million barrier? What PS2 games have reched these milestones? (if any)

It really makes you wonder why devs continue to focus on PSP, especially since PSP is more expensive to develop for. They were quick to drop GCN when it was not selling.

Saying devs were quick to drop GCN isn't totally true, the first big announcements I remember hearing came in 2003, although there were probably individual games being canned before that.  I bet there are individual games being canned on PSP too, but we probably won't see large-scale support withdrawals until after this Christmas, I'm thinking.

The other thing to consider is that it takes a while to make games.  Most PSP games coming out right now probably began development last year and most of the time it makes more sense to finish the game off and release it than to throw away several months of work.
That's my opinion, not yours.

No, often games get cancelled weeks before release simply to save the money on distribution and marketing. Sure, they could do a limited unadvertised run but I guess hey don't like that idea.

No way, AC:WW will break 3 million in about 1 month.  NSMB will take another 2 months a lease.

They may be, though when they are released, there will be a huge upsurge in DS sales.  Lots of people do not buy just one or two games.  I see people buying Pokemon with their new DSL along with NSMB, Brain Training 1 & 2, and AC:WW.
