Anyone else get ths game? I know that many are turned off since its a port of the N64 version and well...its got some dated gameplay. THough I'm quite happy with it. I just unlocked the Princess Peach Car (They changed some of the cars in this version) and it played the overworld theme from SMB2U music when I used it.

Ironically the track name is the same as the track name is in SSBM; Mushroom Kingdom II

Well I don't... I don't like realistic racing games and I heard some pretty bad stuff about the controls. If I could choose between Urban GT and this I would go for Urban GT. Well maybe not anymore... I would like to see (and hear) that Mario stuff in a game like that

Ridge Racer is hardly a realistic racer. Yeah, the cars and tracks are more reality-based than in some kart racers, but the gameplay is strictly arcade. When I think of "realistic" racers, I think of stuff like Gran Tourismo.

i picked it up mainly because i hate realistic driving sims like gran turismo.  I am 20yrs old i drive a car everyday and Gran Turismo does not drive like a real driving expierience.  Arcade racing games are funner anyways.
