Hotmail upped my account from 2MB to 250MB just the other day (and it's still the free version), so I don't really NEED one, but it might be cool to try.

Google doesn't make you check your email every 30 days, otherwise they boot your account like Hotmail does, do they?

They search your email to get more targeted advertising, but that's pretty much it. i think there was a GMail spooler somewhere you could send unused invites to and people in need can request some from there.

make sure you check the bulk mail folder in yahoo. i think it dumps them there.
