What in the blue-hell are you people going on about? Anyone who doesn't want Mp2 can simply post elsewhere. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Now, where's my off-the-hook, live action, better than 02 ad campaign. Maybe the $40,000,000 they're spending on Ds launch is a straining the bugdet for Mp2. Ahhh kcuf ti, just gimme the game.

"Then colour me retarded.

If I want to eat junk food (and get fat omg!1!! NNOVATION!) I'll do it in real life, thanks very much."

You can eat junk food and get fat in Metroid Prime?

Besides, before anybody gets offended, I was kidding.

Well I just saw the teaser on MTV, and it was just that a teaser.  "Scared of the dark...you will be 11.17.04". "Protect the light".  15secs. I thought it was alright for what it was.

the fact is that it will get hated on
1. because its nintendo
2. became fan boys of other systems dont want a game showing up there's

Anyway Im glad that this is less to do with metroids, as interviews have said because the most annoying thing in no.1 was rolling around with a metroid humping your ball every 10secs later in the game (if you were rushing)

And by "9.8-rated," they obviously mean their reviews should be engraved in stone and placed infront of the developers' studios. The lack of comma further cements their intentions of defining classics for us.

i am starting to get psyched about this game...and the ad campaign is pretty good from my view. they had some good commercials during yanks bosox games.

I didn't see a single one up here in Canada and I watched every inning of every game.

this pretty much says it all as fas as hype goes I searched for these on google, and what shoes is the number mentions I guess:

778,000 for metroid prime 2.
1,660,000 for gta:San andreas
5,000,000 for halo 2.

i tried "link:halo2.com" in google, and there were only 52 sites linking to it
but when i tries
"link:metroidprime2.com" there were no sites linking to it, makes sense, as the site isnt even up*

*I could be wrong about this as my flash plugin isnt workin so i cant get onto the nintedo site
Seth Godin and Jay Abraham.

If they cant save Nintendo marketing.

Well, Halo 2 is going to bring up a lot more non-game related results than either of the other two, particularly Metroid Prime.  Or did you put it in quotations?

Hey, soon as that "Iron Woman" commercial becomes available, someone let me know (assuming I don't find it first, and if I do I'll tell).  I want to check it out.

I saw the Iron Woman commercial somewhere this week, but I can't remember where or when.  Personally, I thought it was a lame sex appeal grab.  By the time she's "covered" in metal, she still doesn't look like Samus...her face and I think her breasts were still sticking through the metal suit and the suit looks wrong and stupid and wrong.  I think it's what you would get if you asked an advertiser who doesn't know anything about Metroid to make a "sexy" commercial for the game.
That's my opinion, not yours.

Is that the teaser or the one I was talking about?
Though I suppose it doesn't matter, because Gamespot won't let me get past the FIRST PAGE DAMMIT.

Looks good. Effective. Could have shown more gameplay footage but I guess it's okay.

Okay, Gamespot freakin' sucks.
I watched it, but damn do I hate streaming.  Curse you, Gamespot.

Anyway, I thought it was great.  The music was pretty good, the light/dark effect was an unexpected yet great surprise, and it was well done overall.
Had her face sticking out, but I think that's part of the who are you thing.  I didn't see any excessive breast sticking-out-ness, and believe me, I woulda noticed.
For me, it didn't particularly appeal sexually, it was just cool looking.  The suit looked fine, though not 100% Metroid, but how are you going to do that with scraps of metal flying onto her.  It's only supposed to get the idea across.
In short, I thought it was good, even if it was just a tad bit lacking in gameplay footage.
