Has this even been done before...?  I know Grandia Online has been recently announced as well, but I have no idea if it ties into the world of previous games in the series (I haven't had the pleasure of playing a Grandia title yet).  But, AFAIK, there hasn't been a MMORPG in recent memory that takes place in the world found in a console rpg...

Sounds very interesting, and this may be the first PC title I buy since Age of Mythology.
