Yes, but you realize, had Nintendo added a jack, instead of making it WiFi, they would have been ridiculed, and criticized for being "behind the times."  I didn't know how widespread, or how cheap WiFi really is, so I applaud their move wholeheartedly.  I can't believe people are actually pushing for cables again.  Crazy.

And considering a WiFi Access points are around, fifty bucks they're not all that much money. Infact, if you go to pricewatch they start at about $27 so they are pretty cheap.

So lets say I have a DS and I find Player B 100 ft of my range circle.  Can Player B get Player C who is 100 ft from Player B but 200 ft from me to start a 3 plyayer game?  Is that what they are doing?

Apparently this site will be giving more clues at to what this product is or does. Obviously with the cluses they have given so far, it has something to do with the DS, even the logo name DemaSked shows this. At the end of the month everything is supposed to be revealed about what this all means. Oh yeah, when at the demasked page, if you click on the "button" that says RRS (no idea what that is or means) it takes you to an error page with a weird message...

That stuff is seriously weird, I think they are just bringing that up to confuse their users and the media and have them waste their time while they get actual work done. All of this stuff seems completely irrelevant.

PaleZero: yes, one of the first clues did said that we will find out mid-october,  But one of the clues in the warpPipe forum (thank you blackNmild) said that we will find out "after we are demasked, and before we carve our turkey" (not an exact quote).  That Probably means that we will find out after halloween and before thanksgiving.

VideoGamerJ- it is all very confusing, but all or atleast most of it has a common theme, isolation, and separation, they seem to be suggesting Demasked as a solution to that.  I am thinking something that will make internet gaming more personal somehow.  

Whatever it is, WarpPipe is putting out a lot of hype, I certainly hope it is not a let down.

Not necessarily.  Couldn't that just mean that the DS is coming out between Halloween and Thanksgiving, so we would be able to experience it before we "carve our turkey"?
