DexDrive was the single best peripheral I have ever seen/bought, and I sure wish I had one for my Cube, since my library is already close to eclipsing my total N64  library.  But I've never heard of this USb-connected card.  Got a link?

No, they don't actually exist (yet?). It was a sort of spin-off of those SD-adapter MCs that Nintendo advertised before the Cube's launch, but they've still not seen the light of day. A USB MC for the Cube, if it was in any decent size, would be a HUGE seller.

Yes, they do have them (erm, one).  I was thinking about importing one of these before not too long, and when I do, I'll have a full review up on the site.

Yes, they are a pit pricey, but if you think about it, this is the only memory card you will ever need forever.  Although 3rd party memory cards are always suspect, your computer's hard drive is not, so you can transfer saves onto your PC instantaneously, and if the card ever goes screwy, you can just swap the saves back on to it (or another card).

However, I must say that the Interact 16x card has perfomed perfectly for me.  As a recommendation to everyone, when using any third-party card, follow this rule: First party games go on first-party cards, and third-party games and first-party back-up saves go on third-party cards.  If you do this, you'll never be screwed.  (Unless your brother erases your 16x card twice when he goes to play a Japanese game and leaves it in the GameCube, grumble.)

well get it already and give us a review, cuz this is tempting.

Man, I loved the DexDrive.  Having somethng similar for the GC would be great.  I just wish I'd heard about this sooner.  I've already bought 2 251's and 1 59.  I did have the Interact one, but one day it just imploded.  I saw a 1019 block memory card at best buy the other day for $20.  It was made by Nyko.  And I think there was supposed to be one by MadCatz too, but I haven't seen that one in stores yet.
Nintendo is my crack.

Datel (of GameShark/Action Replay fame) has confirmed that a GCN X-Port is coming out.  It will be unveiled at E3.

X-Port is the same thing as the SharkPort, by the way.  The X-Port/SharkPort is the PS2 memory card to PC device.  I'm waiting for Datel, but it's nice to know a product is already out.

Of course, any new "GameShark" device isn't made by Datel and is a "GameShark" product in name only.  "Action Replay," "X-Port," and other Datel products are the true successors to the GameShark line.  Strange that they didn't just keep the original names to begin with.

Can you make copies of data that you could not ordinarily copy on the cube, i.e. phantasy star, fzero?
