"The sheer existence of this game must prove that Nintendo has secretly solved all of its software problems because that is the only way they can afford to make a POS like that that will only sale in Japan. That must mean a new C elda, a new realistic Zelda, Too Human, ED 2, MGS3, FF12, Metroid Prime2, Goldeneye 2 exclusive, origianal titles, Pokemon RPG, and Mario 128 will be out soon. Cause lord knows that would be the only justification for wasting time on games like Donkey Konga and Pac Man. Way to work on the priorities Shigendo."
~Donkey Konga is being made by NAMCO, not Nintendo.
~Pacman VS is a tiny game that must have taken almost no effort to make. It's not like Nintendo chose to create it instead of another Zelda game.
~There's nothing wrong with Nintendo devoting some resources to smaller/niche titles. One of its major problems with the N64 was that it concentrated on only a few HUGE titles in a select few genres while gamers starved for months on end waiting for them and certain genres like RPGs and Fighters were almost non-existent on the console. It was the variety and quantity in game selection that allowed the PSX to become a much bigger success than the N64.
~It's ironic that you say a game like Donkey Konga is a waste of time because it will only sell well in Japan (and if the success of Namco's previous drum games are any indication, it will sell VERY well over there) then list as alternatives games like MGS3, Metroid Prime 2, and Goldeneye 2 which would mostly just sell in the US and completely bomb in Japan as well as games like ED2 and Too Human which quite possibly would/will bomb EVERYWHERE.
~What's REALLY ironic is you then mock Miyamoto even though he's played a key role in the creation/success of the predecessors of many of the games you listed. Not just Mario and Zelda either. He helped a lot with titles like Metroid Prime and even Eternal Darkness. In fact, he's involved with just about every game Nintendo is in any way involved with these days.
You also for some reason blame him for Nintendo's supposed lack of priorities when I'm pretty sure the President of Nintendo who is NOT Miyamoto is actually running things.
