Were people so excited about this game coming to consoles that it would be profitable anyway? I mean... Gone Home is kind of old news, and not really much of a "game" in the traditional sense anyway. With a small install base and a successor already in the works, would the number sold on Wii U justify the effort?
This isn't like Minecraft - a game that is a good fit for the hardware and the average owner, with a huge business behind the game that could afford to take the risk. Gone Home doesn't tip the scale that way.
