Ohh, I have caught a couple episodes of this. It always pops up in some really odd time slots. Fantastic when I catch it. I rather fancy Kathrine Parkinson who plays Jen.

I hope they never make an American version of this.

I watched them back when they first aired.  Some of the funniest TV ever, and I'm glad they took it past a single season (especially since British "seasons" are so shor)t.  I watched some of the director's earlier stuff (Father Ted), but didn't find it as funny.
I also heard an interview on the radio with one of the guys from the US version, but it looks like they cancelled it.  I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

"I punched one of the child actors on set because they were rude about Garth’s writing. It’s more of a back of the hand than a punch, but they came up in a big red bruise, someone took a photo of it, blah, blah, blah, cry, cry, cry, I don’t see it as a problem." - Dean Learner

From what I read on wiki there was supposed to be an American version but it got delayed several times until it disappeared, for it's own good I say. Although I would love to buy the DVDs for the 1st and 2nd season, I believe it will be nigh impossible to find them here in North-America, or at least playable for this region.

I rather fancy Kathrine Parkinson who plays Jen.

She is hot indeed.

Just checked what Darkplace is just to see what actor you were talking about. He appears in the 2nd season, and I don't like his character because I think he isn't as humorous as the one he substituted.

I see. So when Caliban expresses interest in a show everyone laps it up like thirsty dogs; however, when poor old Stogi introduces a show no one gives two shits.

Ugh....I hate you all.
