I think the movie was a metaphor for the fall of man. The Axiom was Eden. Otto Pilot was God. Wall-E was the snake who convinces humanity to make use of a special plant and consequently lose paradise but gain knowledge.

Wall-E was magnificent. It was just beautifully made and a truly touching movie. The visuals were in places truly astounding and always charming. It had an interesting story with a surprisingly serious undertone and wasn't shy about turning some emotional screws.

In short I loved it. I thought it is much better than Ratatouille. It might be my favourite Pixar movie.

Wall-E making the Mac startup sound really made the Apple fanboy in me giggle too.

Mind blown.

I loved this movie. The science purist in my tried to cringe at some parts but then the movie's charm took over and silenced him. And I was glad about it.

Wall-E was HEAD AND SHOULDERS better than Ratatouille or Cars. Of course, even Pixar's worst movie is head and shoulders above most everything else, but Wall-E is a return to form for them, a real visual and thematic virtuoso!

Do you seriously believe it is head and shoulders better than Ratatouille? I have a hard time understanding that.

Not sure about head and shoulders but it is easily my favorite Pixar movie (which is saying A LOT).

I finally saw this last night (unlimited cinema for £180? who can complain). Absolutely astounding. Best film i've seen in a long time.

I predict me and my big bro are gonna argue about whether this film or Wanted is the best film we've seen so far (neither of us have seen Dark Knight yet) for a long time to come.

Let us know when you see the Dark Knight because I came out of Wall-E THE SAME WAY as you did, I was stunned. Dark Knight while a great movie still didn't match what I felt about Wall-E.
