I think people assume Miyamoto, and Nintendo in general, just reuse the same IP because the Gamecube wasn't very popular so that big sequels were all anyone from the outside looking in noticed.  Gamecube owners knew about Pikmin but no one else really did.  If you don't own a console you really only notice the titles you recognize and those are often sequels.  Now I think Nintendo does release too many sequels but they do release some new stuff.  You can't accuse them of NEVER doing new stuff.

Plus it's hard to really categorize any current Nintendo titles as "Miyamoto titles" because his job position is different now.  It was in the past where he was more the "main guy" making games and those games are considered some of the best ever.

If I was going to name someone that's overrated I would have named Yuji Naka but a few years of total crap have kind of killed his legacy so he's no longer overrated.  So for now I'd pick Sid Meier just because he puts his name in the title of all his games and that just drives me nuts since outright legends like Miyamoto and Yu Suzuki don't.

Is Yuji Naka the creator of sonic, cause GOD would i have put him on the list. HE should have been number 1, 2-100 should have been everyone else on sonic team for the past 4 years. I never liked sonic, so i would of have him on there for the past 10-15 years, or however old that mascot is.

I wouldn't bash Sid to much, Civilization is an amazing game, I haven't touched Civ 4 and i hear its aweful, and read why most epople think its awful, but thats becuase, like i am, they are greatly acustomed to the micromangement of 1 through 3 and they proabably hate the fact that they got rid of defense values for an overall power value. But as far as strategy games go, they do't get more technical then civ.

They also should have put the head developer of Bungie's Halo in that list, cause really, it's an FPS damn it, theres nothing special or creative about halo.
