Guess I'll only need 4 of these instead of five... The Virtual Console concept has limits! It fails!

Other than the Super Bomberman games, what games actually required five players simultaneously?  I can't think of any...

There might have been the odd game that had a secret code to be entered on the Player 5 game pad, but still...I don't think it's a major loss...

Super Bomberman only allowed you to play with 4 players, though I think Super Bomberman 2 may have allowed 5...I don't think it did.

The only games I know for sure that allowed 5 were the EA sports games.  But, those games weren't good with 5 players.  It is actually quite silly to play sports games with more than 2 people.

But 5 players is crazy, because it means one time always has that 3rd human player advantage, that would just suck.

I also think that perhaps the Micromachine game/games for SNES allowed 5 players as well.

If memory serves Looney Tunes B-ball allowed 5 players on the SNES. That games is the business.

Anyway, I would LOVE to play VC games on retro controllers. I would at least buy one of each just becasue I would want the games to play and feel right.

Super Bomberman 3 and up allowed Five Players at a time.  Although they wern't released in the states.

Here's hoping that Saturn Bomberman game with 10 Players comes out on the Wii somehow.

I doubt Nintendo will let you plug in your actual old controllers.

But if they did, that would be the awesomest thing ever.

Then, if they'd just let us get free downloads for all the games we already own....

But looking at pic the controllers dont look like their new shiny replicas but like old dirty controllers, and I already  have a bunch of the old ones and I dont want to buy new ones just for the wii...

I could've sworn that LTB-B only supported 4 players.  It was 2 on 2 basketball, where could a fifth player play?  and an even better question, how would you plug in a 5th controller?  A third multitap?
Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you n

SNES Super Multi-Taps feature Four ports on them and they plug into the 2nd Controller Port.  So Player 1 uses Controller Port #1 and Players 2-5 use Controller Port #2+Multi-Tap.

Can't speak for LTBB though...

Well, it has been quite a few years since I've played LTBB so I could be wrong. I could've sworn you could have 5 players though. I'll have to plug in the SNES and take a look to be 100% certain.
