Shinji still has a hard on for Microsoft? What a surprise. They definitely did not have the best conference.

I personally found the microsoft confrence to have the most games that appealed to me out of the three. They fucked of with the pricing and always online so they lose by default though.

My take on the whole conference was basically more of the same from everyone just updated with better graphics and finer details.  The PS4 and Xbone are the home of the FPSers and dramatic AAA titles with the occasional interesting indie game.  The WiiU has become Nintendo's factory line for their key franchise titles to be regurgitated and the 3ds has become my only beacon of hope.

I have my WiiU already so I'll be buying the extremely few releases that will be coming to it this year.  My 3DS, PC, and PS3 along with their accompanying backlog of titles will keep me busy until something I must have is released on the PS4.  I will get a PS4, I'm sure of that but definitely not this year and maybe not even the next.

I think this change to AAA (for the majority of the industry) and HD era (for Nintendo) has really damaged the industry.  Every game now seems to be taking years on end to release.  I've never seen an E3 where a majority of the interesting games being shown will not even be available this damn year.  This E3 was more like a Pre E3 2014 show.  The sad thing is that we already know mostly what we're going to see next year at E3.  It'll be a majority of what was shown and announced in the past 2 days.

I see Square-Enix is just as fond of throwing their money away as ever. Those Xbone versions will be lucky to sell more than 10,000 copies worldwide.

I still can't believe Square wont port that sh*t over to WiiU.  Of all the franchises they have, KH is the one that I think fits best on a Nintendo console.  They'll go so far as to support the Xbone with it even though that system is as good as dead in Japan yet they won't put it out on WiiU.  WTF man, seriously.  Nintendo can't catch a break.

TBH, I'm somewhat surprised at the lack of Wii U support for Kingdom Hearts 3, just because what S-E showed in that trailer wasn't particularly technically impressive. I suppose there's only so much you can do with that art style. I guess Nintendo's just dug themselves too big a hole with the Wii U.

Worst E3 for games ever. Only indie titles interest me so far.

Yeah, this has been a real **** show of an E3 all around, other than Sony breaking out of the event horizon of the DRM black hole. And really, that's being marketed as a triumph, when it's just maintaining a 20-year status quo. I'm not even particularly pumped on any of the indie stuff, aside from that Myst looking puzzle game.

Apparently the company of line of not thinking about DRM was bullshit.

Glad they decided not to do it.
