Topic: Treasure's First Wii Title Announced: Bleach: Versus Crusade

Based on the Bleach anime, Bleach: Versus Crusade is being developed by the team that made the Bleach DS game.

 Treasure announced that their first Wii game will be a 3D fighting game based upon the Bleach anime. Subtitled "Versus Crusade", it has a cell-shaded graphical style and features all the main characters from the series.  The same team that made Bleach on the Nintendo DS are developing it, and are planning to include some kind of Nintendo Wi-Fi connection compatibility.   It has not been confirmed whether that means online versus play, but we are expecting more details at the end of September so keep checking the site for future updates.  Bleach: Versus Crusade is scheduled for release sometime this year.

The "first one" (actually the second console game by the team) was made by one of Sega's regular teams (the Virtua Fighter one?). Treasure can probably do better than that.

Well the game is being worked on by the same team behind the DS ones, so it's not like multiple teams have been working on Bleach games...Just ignore the fact that the team even exists if you want... ='D

Never got into the Bleach or Naruto games cuz I don't know **** about the anime. Should I still be interested in those games?

I like the new DBZ game (it's pretty badass), but it's more so cuz I know what the hell is going on.

Hell, I hardly know anything about Naruto either but the games were great on the GC. I did know Bleach so I can't speak from the POV of a total stranger but Bleach DS was a great game too.

Well, the first Wii Bleach was bound to suck since it was made by the Bleach GC team.
