IGN reviewed this already and they gave it a 6.8 which is very low.

Clicky

Really shameful they didn't get things together. The Wii is about 2 years old now this would be tolerable for launch game but not now.

I might have to pick up this game just for the multiplayer. Hell, I still play blades of steel from time to time.

The Nintendo World Store is having a launch event. It looks like September 14th is the day it launches. The event looks like it will happen at 4 pm. Note that the text is really small on the image. So show up early.

I wouldn't call a 6.8 from IGN Wii a very low score. It's certainly low, but not too low. IGN gave MLB 2K8 a 6.5 and it was a fun game with very good controls that didn't look all that good and had a couple flaws. If I weren't planning on buying NHL 09 for the 360 I'd certainly pick this game up and that review wouldn't make me think twice.
