Finally a reason to be excited...... If you think the wii is selling now in Europe just wait till Pro-Evo comes out if it is well balanced the Wii is gonna rock baby............. I'm so excited being tempted to consider getting a PS3 early just for this now I can wait till christmas 08 or even 09 before I get if I do with the way the Wii is going.........  

If you aint excited it's cool..... But for the Wii it's good news............. Finally some concrete information at last.........

Well, there's part of the Europe puzzle dealt with, But Nintendo STILL has to do something to counter Sony's massive Singstar and Buzz! success over there (maybe third party quiz games will lessen the blow, but so far the Wii's Karaoke prospects are... urgh) AND NoE has to start doing things other than deliberately sabotaging themselves with release delays and etc.

OBJECTION relevance! It's Pro Evo. It will sell on the name alone. Not even Metroid Prime 3 levels of hype and marketing are needed for this.

Yeah while I'll agree that Fifa (EA) have improved the playability of their football (soccer) series, the years of releasing sub par updates has hurt their reputation and means that Pro-Evo has a bigger appeal for footy games fans..... Most people I know that buy Fifa tend to use it more like a management sim and stuff because of the roster...

While every where you go Uni campuses after work events and stuff, barbecues whatever, you'll always come across people challenging each other to a Pro-Evo match.... So if they pull it off for the Wii and I think they'll see mario strikers and fifa and come up with a good control scheme, This will cement the Wii as the best all round system... Less of a reason for me to have two systems this cycle .........

I was forced to buy a PS2 alongside my gamecube because of Pro-Evo and streetfighter, didnt want to be left out the loop, got tired of loosing when the boys would meet up for a game of Pro....

They aren't sabotaging themselves with delays.  They're just trying to fit into the example set by NCL and NOA.
