Now I'm curious if my system just has this update since they put in the background download and install.

This will be the first time I beat this game.
Its OK.
That's all I'll give it.

Why not good?  Because I ended with 58% with being really carefully and checking everything.  I honestly don't see how you could do 90-100% without using a guide or playing through the game analyzing each inch.  The controls are well... Not as spot on as I would like.  Its a fun game but I'll probably never play it again.

General Chat / Re: Rate the last movie you've seen

I've seen a few episodes of DS9, but it felt like a cheaper, lamer version of TNG. Hell, the only Star Trek show I liked was TNG, and not even all of it. As I said earlier, I pretty much only like about 80% of TNG. I'm not a Trekkie whatsoever. :P

You should give it another shot. It's slow to start, but once it gets rolling it's easily the best written Star Trek series. It can pull off emotional depth like "The Visitor," political suspense and intrigue like "In the Pale Moonlight," and legitimately funny comedy like "Little Green Men."
In general I agree but, their are some episodes that are trying their hardest to tank that.

I be surprised if Nintendo catches any Exclusively Western game of any note.

So there be an explostion on the Internet if that happens.

7
I probably will be.  IF I don't forget what actual day it is again.

DS9 is the most Political of all the Star Treks.  Their is stark social commentary throughout and some episodes they don't even try to hide it later on.  Its not surprising that Voyager is sort of a swing the other way.

I wonder if the retail version is to give the illusion of the Wii U having more games on the shelf.  The store shelf is a minor marketing tool.  If people are walking through the store and they see a barren Wii U shelf they figure the system has nothing going for it.  This just puts some extra item on the shelf so the Wii U looks like it has a few more games.
Its for the Luddites and kids.

TalkBack / Re: No EA Games Currently in Development for Wii U

"Does it bother me that EA is choosing to not support Nintendo"

Actually EA stopped production on all platforms that aren't selling--Vita on the sh!t list, 3DS, and Mac as well.  When 95% of your sales come from PS3/Xbox360/PC you can see why they wouldn't even bother with making ports that generate no profit for them.

--------------------------------
And it really doesn't matter about release dates neither--Injustice was released same day and it's sales are still 1/10th of ps3/xbox.  Nintendo has to increase the Wii U userbase and you really can't see it improving anytime soon, maybe in the fall.
PC is on that list too.  Its not getting most games either but more than those other one.

« on: May 17, 2013, 07:48:23 AM »
My problem is that Almost all of that we known about since launch and had just been delayed or could have already be played on a Nintendo system.  The sole real exception was Sonic: Lost World but if its not in the Sonic Storybook series I could really care less.

This direct was a waste of everyone's time and if it suppose to be a glimpse into the Wii U Future.  It has no future.

You'll be singing a different tune come E3. I think most people figured all we would get were the summer dates for W101, Pikmin, Wario and Luigi. Seems fine to me.
I sure hope not.  Because just think at how bad E3 would need to be to make this an ok Nintendo Direct.

If they were going to do stripes I sort of like a color representing each of the evolutions.

We just wanted to remind you of the Wii U summer update.  I have no games to announce.

I be very very surprised that the Wii U at the Deluxe Price of $350 isn't the cheapest console of the three.  Sony's already went on the record saying that they will make a profit on each piece of hardware sold Day One.  Now we know that the Wii U actually initially took a loss.  Putting 2 and 2 together and Sony would need to price accordingly to make that claim true.

I'm not sure if Microsoft wants that Trojan horse bad enough to make their system $300-350.

At the current time Nintendo needs to make their system the place for Quirky exclusives.  Things that on their own aren't system sellers but together makes it something you'll want.  Putting them back to a Nintendo System and pick your multiplat box.  Though to enact that strategy they are going to have to address storage and download speeds from the store.

So this movie is as bad as if a Star Trek hater made it?  Oh Wait...
Their is a large group of people that would be eunuchs for the chance to direct a Star Trek reboot.  Then they give it to this clown who thinks the series is Star Wars...

Like the look of the new region personally. Hopefully they will give online connection stuff better attention than they did in gen 5.  Spotpass stuff will be cool if anything, but i want to fully play everything with online friends....
Online Friend Co-op would be cool.
A few bucks for a Wii U display app.
