It is times like these that try Men's handheld system's batteries.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Project HAMMER NOOOOOOO

I hadn't decided if I would get the game or not. I wanted to see some more depth than just mindlessly destroying things with a hammer, but I have no doubt it would have been a good game.

I think it's a great game holder pouch, but I would rather have them in colors that match the system. Like black, white, and pink. For instance, I'd rather have a black one to match my system than a red or gray one.

I think it looks great and I'm really looking forward to a deeper single player mode, but where is Link? I really hope that he's in it again. He was a fantastic character addition.

Everyone wants to try and tap into the success of Nintendogs it seems.

I've been looking at Penguin United's Wii Remote charger for some time now. I like it better than the others on the market right now because the case actually matches the controller. I'll probably get it as soon as I get Super Smash Bros. Brawl because my Wii Remotes will be bleeding batteries.

No, it's Eric. A pretty common name so it's normally taken anyway.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Madden 2008 Wii

I own Madden 07 and while I enjoyed it I just don't see enough in this one to pick it up. I'll wait until next year when they can have some more time with the online component and maybe even include voice chat. Though the telestrator idea where you can draw on the screen is rather cool.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Finally succumbed to the Wii, some questions

I can't give you much advice on RPGs, but as for racing games I've played both Excite Truck and Need for Speed: Carbon and I really enjoyed both of them. For right now they are two of the best racing games on the system. I personally own NFS:Carbon, I purchased it over Excite Truck for the depth and customization. They are two very different types of racers. NFS:Carbon being a more realistic street racer with a storyline and lots of customizing, while Excite Truck is a fast paced arcade-like game with power-ups and big jumps. So it just depends on your tastes, but that are both very enjoyable.

I tried using my real name, but it had already been taken. So I used my nickname, "Geech". My friends started using the word to describe something that described something funny and different. I have no clue where they got it. I guess I fit the bill so much that they decided to just use it as my permanent label. Which is why I decided I'd use it here.

I may just be over-critical, but I wouldn't expect we'll ever see this game in stores. I've never even heard of anyone on this development team and the gmail and hotmail e-mail accounts don't do much to back them up. I'd be surprised if they ever find a publisher.

I watched the trailer and was very impressed. For as much action that is going on it looked to hold up pretty well with the framerate in my opinion.
