You'll never need to worry about avoiding pokemon or stage hazards ever again.

Doesn't make up for the fact that Metaknight has no good strong attacks.  It's impossible to KO anyone with him.

You'll be surprise at how powerful and useful shuttle loop can be.

there is a third wii outfit you can unlock if you get an inhuman 15,000 points in battle mode.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that unlockable was proven false. Some people recently cracked the game disk, and found no such thing. Plus, the VR points maxs out at 9999.

I've just got through getting 3 stars ratings on every cup in every class, and I too can confirm that the more destructive items are way more frequent in the GP modes than the online mode. For those that haven't attempted to three star a cup, you HAVE to get a first in all four races, consistently maintain your lead in those races, and fall off course/off-road as little as possible.

I would like to add that another more serious problem with the GP is the rubberbanding that goes on, mainly in the 150cc and Mirror classes. All too often, I would be running a perfect race with the fastest vehicle you could select only to be constantly trailed by my rival (the CPU character that's almost always destined to get first if you don't get first), usually driving in a much slower vehicle. You can probably guess what ends up happening at the end of the race. Blue Shell: perfect run ruined. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens nonetheless. When attempting to get 3 stars, I've had to retry cups way too many times because of this.

However, in the game's defense, there is the VS mode that a lot of people neglect to mention, where you can almost create your own custom GP against CPU racers, like how you can change the difficulty of the CPU racer and alter the frequency of the more powerful items to where the blue shell never appears.

I agree with everything you said except for Meta Ridley being the hardest boss.  I can routinely beat him without taking a single hit.  I can do the same with the Hands, normal Ridley, and Petey.  The rest are very predictable, too, but I have trouble actually avoiding their attacks even though I know they're coming.

I agree. Normally, Meta Ridley is not a very difficulty boss. I can usually defeat him without taking a single hit, myself. However, on the intense difficulty, I find it very difficult to avoid his attacks when I'm fighting him with charizard, or any other slow character. I always seem to face him in the eighth or ninth battle, and at that point, Meta Ridley becomes so fast that beating him with charizard becomes almost impossible, considering how slow charizard is in the air.

My brother and I beat it on intense on co-op with two charizards using rock smash the whole way (while dodging the bosses' attacks, of course). Most of the bosses have some very obvious warning signs when they are about to launch a powerful attack. I've found Master/Crazy Hand, Ridley, and Petey to be the most predictable. You should be able easily to do those bosses and not take much damage.

However, the real key to successfully beating this challenge is to fight Rayquaza, Pokey, and Meta Ridley (arguably, the hardest of the bosses)  as early as possible, preferably before the sixth or seventh match, as the bosses, in general, move and attack faster in the later levels and, as a result, become more difficult to avoid. This is especially true when battling the three bosses listed above.

Believe it or not, I find Tabuu to be one of the easier boss. Once you get the timing down for his Red Rings of Death attack, it becomes very easy to dodge. With the exception of his lasso, all his other attacks are very predictable and easy to avoid (but that may just be me).

I been seeing a lot of complaints about the sonic franchise similar to that, and I wholeheartedly agree. I just started playing this sonic fangame called Sonic Robo Blast 2, and I have to admit that this FANGAME is a much better 3-D sonic game than any of Sonic Teams recent excuses for a Sonic game.
I really encourage every Sonic fan to at least try this game once. You can find the game and some info at the SRB2 website at: http://www.srb2.org/
Don't worry, this is not a ROM.

This game has a lot of elements of the 2-D games in a 3-D environment. Unlike most of the 3-D sonic games, Sonic RB2 actually has alternate paths. It still has a great sense and encourages exploration like Sonic Adventure did in terms of the finding the emblems hidden in the Adventure fields. There were times where I actually got lost in the levels, something I never experience in a 3-D sonic game (except for Knuckles/Rouge's levels). I just felt I needed to posted this since no one in this topic mentioned this fangame; a sonic fangame I believe captures the essence of the classic Sonic games more than any game by "professionals" has so far.
