TalkBack / RE: PREVIEWS: Madden NFL 08
« on: June 13, 2007, 02:33:17 PM »
This is sounding really good. I enoyed madden 07 on wii a lot. I'm not a big sports guy, but I was surprised how fun it was.
I'm glad they're making some of the gestures a little simpler. I can't seem to get a hold on how to play defense on 07, hopefully
i'll be able to get it this time. My nephew always creams me, and I keep telling myself this shouldn't be the case.
Online play sounds cool. The mini-games on 07 were also suprisingly good. Hopefully now that they
added a ton more, they don't get too lame.

TalkBack / RE: EA Reveals

The first shot with the characters looked pretty bad. But the school wide shot actually makes the game look pretty good. I hope they keep it looking like that. Wifi multiplayer would have made this a lot more interesting. If someone can just make an online multi of wii sports, that'd be insane. I've been wanting to school my friend in boxing and tennis so bad... but atleast its good to see some games being made. Wonder what other EA games are coming... I've liked Madden and Blur a ton so far.

Hmmm... Sounds alright. I'm excited about pokemon diamon and paper mario.
Its a real drag that theres no Metroid Prime.. I've been thirsting that game. They told me launch title, and now i still  don't have it.
Oh snap.. the browser for the DS. I forgot all about that thing. Right. No way i'm getting that.

Definately. I could use some brushing up on my geography.
Weather is pretty cool. I was spinning the globe for a few minutes at 2 in the morning. The south pole is amazing.
My town wasn't on there either. Which kinda sucks. I was hoping they would have added it by the morning. Oh well, Los Angeles is close enough.

Yeah. The screenshots on there look pretty bad. I wish i could see more developers actually trying to push their games to look something above what's been on the GC already. If it was a new game for VC i'd probably buy it for a bargain price. But the game itself sounds like it could be a fun game. I wonder how its really using that wiimote. It sounds like the PSP version will have wifi coop, while the wii one wont! agh, whats up with that.

Wow. That guy must have been having the time of his life. Look at his face man! He's loving it. Probably totally worth it. That guy shouldn't go to jail, though! All he was doing was spreading cheer.

This stuff is actually pretty cool. Kinda useless right now... but I wonder how far all these hacks will go.

Definately. I was pretty excited for monkey ball... It was my multiplayer game for the wii launch. I was pretty alarmed how some of them played. I was pretty bummed. Then i played the single player a few days later... Loved it. So i think the review was a really well done. Any fan of monkey ball would hopefully look at the score and read why its so low.

Oh yeah there was meteor shower for the Gamecube launch. I didn't see anything, but it was nice to know it was going on.
Pretty crazy about the launch numbers. I wonder if many retailers have gotten more shipments of wii's. I could see it going far with a whole month of sales if they could supply enough.

Yeah. I agree about the review thing. It seems reviews would take a while and possibly be uninteresting. But talking about certain games for a while is nice. Like the way Megaman Battle Network 6 was mentioned... from what i remember it was good listening.

Nice podcast guys. Glad they are getting a little longer. Whew, those commercials. They were amazing.

Before, if i bought a game i'd play it through nicely... if not completely beat it. But like you guys, I too have no finished a lot of my games. Last one i beat was killer7. Still got wonderful pikmin2 and beyond good and evil to go..  I've barely touched them. probably tons of other games too. I never use to do this. :-(

Keep up the great work guys.
