General Chat / RE: Ads on planetgamecube.com very annoying!

I just got FireFox 1.0, how do you turn on ad blocking and how do I make it so that when I click on a lick (ex. spreadfoxfire.com link that Mario posted) it opens in a new tab instead of a new window?

DATES

- The sale will be October 17-23 for all Nintendo Gamecube games. Sorry no GBA games.
- October 24- October 30 for PS2 and XBox, yes you can mix and match.

DETAILS

-This sale will happen in all TRU stores in the United States of America. The sale has not been extended to the International stores as of right now. Once again, Canada is out of luck.
-When you buy the three games, the one that is the least expensive will be the free item. If you purchase three $50 games, you get a $50 game free.
-Eye Toy, DDR Bundles. Kareoke Revolution, Donkey Konga, and any other game along the same vein of game+accessory will be part of the sale.
-Because of how they are handled when it comes to inventory, presales will not count unless they come out the week oif the sale.
-The Amazon sale will be the exact same as last year as well, with the price restrictions and presale restrictions allowed. ""

What games do you suggest for the sale?
(Was it a good thing to make a new topic?)

I was thinking:
NBA Street Vol 2
Super monkey ball 2
Resident evil 0 <-- which is the best RE?

What about the deal at Toy's R Us?  Where you buy 2 games of the same price, get one game free or equal or greater value of one of them.
I'm not sure if that's correct.

General Chat / Ads on planetgamecube.com very annoying!

Not only do they block the article so you can't read it. One of the GoArmy! ads has a very annoying helicopter sound.  On my connection (56k) the close button doesn't load till a long time.  Glad I can mute, but then my music gets muted, too.

Sigh...

about matt oz's last spoiler:
Tabatha wasn't a failed chosen, she's a robot.  They don't have the word "robot" in their vocabulary so they called her (it) a doll that was able to talk and stuff by magic.  Tabatha was a failed experiment of some sort I'm guessing.  On another "project" besides the "chosen" ones.  I'm guessing. There's no proof that what I say is true.

To move your bar toward T, you need more Ex Skills that are T type.  It's the same for S type.  Also, there is an [Acc.] equipable item called the Technical Ring, which disposes the equipped characters' type toward T.  Don't ask me what disposes means, cause I dunno.  I'm not sure if there's a Strike Ring.
Depending on how many T/S ExSkills you have, the more it will move when you level up.  If you have all 4 Exskills on T, then your character will get to T faster.  If you have 2 T and 2 S, then your bar will not move.

But if I leave my GameCube plugged in for long periods of time, say months, would it damage my gameCube?  Assiming there were no surges.

If any of you read the instruction manual, then you know that it says to unplug your GCN when you're not using it.  Does anyone do that? I do.

I'm sure I can try to hide it from my parents somehow.

Bad news for me: When I called my friend he already sold it. GRR.

I was sooooooooo pissed.  now I gotta get a gamecube from a retail store.  I hope they still have some.  I want the platinum one.

Alrite my mind is set, I'm buying it.

But there's just one problem: Parents.
I KNOW they wont let me hav a game console.  especially one the named Gamecube!  I was planning on telling them "I'm only gonna play it when friends come over." And keep it under my bed when I'm not using it.

OR I could hid it in my room, wait untill my parents are out of the house (which is very very rare) and play it.

My parents are a drag.

Nintendo Gaming / Gamecube for $100
« on: December 20, 2003, 07:33:59 AM »
My friend was trying to sell me his gamecube for $150, then the regular priced dropped.  Now, He'll PROBABLY sell it to me for $100.  It comes with:
- A gamecube
- 4 controller (official nintendo)
- A Memory card (Dunt know the size)
- Super Smash Bros Melee

I was wondering if it was truly worth it, after all, it is a USED gamecube.  One thing is, once he was holding on the his gamecube with one hand and the power cord with the other and dropped his gamecube.  but he caught it with the cord, so it might be messed up.

Buy/No buy?
